Next year is going to be very light on DC I‘m afraid. They fast tracked two Frozen sets to be released in January after the success of the first one. I’d imagine future DC sets would already be designed, so fast tracking from October to August doesn’t seem completely impossible. I guess if DC isn’t selling particularly well they mightn’t see a point in investing into fast tracking. 47 minutes ago, Robert8 said: What if they re release sets? Like they did with the Winter Village Toy Shop and the Taj Mahal DC sets aren’t that expensive on the second market like those sets were. It be more handy for regular consumers, but those regular consumers don’t seem to be buying much DC. :(

And it’s not for the full year it’s just the first half next year meaning January-June I mean Harry Potter set was fast tracked was planned with much more time then this and even that barley got done in time and that guy you saw the “great plans” was taken from my post about the Batman being big for lego in 2021. You will just have to be patient to see what they actually have planned for this movie Too many people steal you posts mate! Shame on them! I hoping for another surprise D2C in 2021!
Falconfan1414 Posted October 6, 2020 Posted October 6, 2020 The 2 dc sets officially confirmed for the 1st half of next year. The cowl and the 4 plus set
THELEGOBATMAN Posted October 6, 2020 Posted October 6, 2020 Wow, and people thought last year was worst Lego DC year ever...

Lionbear8 Posted October 7, 2020 Posted October 7, 2020 So spiderman get a monster truck, but Batman does not! The Cult comic run Death Metal run

Then in June all the DC sets will be released at once with a couple of Marvel sets. Sets based off of Movies & Video Games are exempt from this.

I wasn’t saying that I was saying don’t hold your breath to dc outmatching marvel in the summer especially with what they considered to be a huge thing for lego dc, the new Batman movie moving. Plus I’m pretty sure there is a good amount of other movie sets in my price list as well. All the prices should be for 1HY sets too Edited October 8, 2020 by Falconfan1414

So all the movie sets that have been pulled and such will be on that list I would say 76181 is DC. The question is which sets are allocated for the Batman Movie, off some hints, I'm assuming 2 at least. The rest of the numbers scream Marvel movies. And the number missing 76178, could be another surprise D2C set, Marvel or DC, anyone's guess! No real pattern with Lego, it could be nothing. I guess we have to wait and see!
BrickBob Studpants Posted October 9, 2020 Posted October 9, 2020 (edited) I‘m wondering if the sets based on The Batman could be part of that set list as well. This depends on the point in time the list was first created though. The announcement of the first delay of the film from May 21 to October 21 was made in late April, so the list shouldn‘t include the sets any more if it was created after April. How realistic is that? Edit: And of course there‘s also the possibility that the sets could‘ve been a 1HY release (i.e. in May) even with the Oct 21 release date of the film. Two month gaps between film and sets are definitely more common, but three month gaps are not unheard of. Aquaman even had a four month gap Edited October 9, 2020 by Lego-Freak

I purchased the ww84 set excluive set on eBay for twice the price plus shipping, it takes a dent on your wallet! Since us international folks don't have access to some of these exclusive sets! Looking forward to the podcast, currently listening to Building up to it The Bricks King
