Kraven was never confirmed, and Electro has been said to have a prominent role. Look it up

Firstly, where did I say anything about Kraven?

Secondly, no one confirmed that Electro will have a prominent role.

Thirdly, do you really think that Marvel would make an actual live-action Spider-Verse movie and make Electro the main villain? Really?

His inclusion in itself is jarring. Also sources like Grace Randolph and Daniel Richtman have (If you don't know, they always report confirmed news). Obviously the sinister 6 are going to he fashioned in too, but it is said he will take the lead

It’s LEGO, so I would say Raimi Spider-Man 3 sets are very unlikely. But if Tobey is returning, maybe the Symbiote suit can show up either in Spider-Man 3 or DS2. That could be our chance to get the figure

Ain't happening but it would've been cool if they turned either Maguire or Garfield into the Superior Spider-Man

I watched a YouTube video by Captain Midnight where he outlined this exact plot. Good stuff.

I wouldn't trust Grace Randolph's word very much honestly. She basically just capitalizes on rumors that other people have already come up with to varying reliability, and now she's even suggesting Deadpool will be in Spidey 3. Daniel RPK and Charles Murphy are a little more consistent.

I honestly don't know if they would bring the black suit back, but if you guys really are interested in amazing Raimi figs, check out Phoenix Customs. Don't think they're still available, but he did two perfect Raimi suits.

Honestly, I have a bad feeling that if the cameos are a limited part of the third act, they might not be included in sets. If all of it is true, I would really love the updated suits like you guys said, but just don't get your hopes too high. My dream would be a lawyer Matt Murdock fig if his inclusion is true. I guess we'll just have to wait for more info for accurate speculation.

I don't know if Lego either lost the rights or wanted to discontinue the original Spider-Man line after the sets for Spider-Man 2 were done with, but this could be their second chance to finally complete the trilogy and make a few of the minifigures that everyone spent years making customs of to compensate for Mega Bloks getting the Marvel license. I'd do anything to finally get an official Raimi black suit minifigure instead of searching for custom decals of it online.

Highly doubt it. Seems even less likely than MCU phase 1 sets

In the Web Warriors comic series, which continues the story of Spiderverse, an alternate universe Electro with the help of Doc Ock achieves interdimensional travel, and recruits an Electroverse to fight the Spiders

Posted (edited)

One way the story could go (just my speculation, by no means is this story I made up accurate or good lol): after Spiderman’s identity is exposed, Mysterio (who turns out to be still alive) recruits Scorpion, who attempts to assemble a team to take revenge on Peter. Scorpion finds Vulture (who acts like a double agent like Snape) and maybe Kraven (if he appears at all). Act 1 involves the team hunting Spiderman down while a dimensional rift happens (maybe because of what Wanda did in WandaVision) and transports Electro and Doc Ock to the MCU (Doctor Strange could be the side character that investigates this). The Sinister Six thus assembles out of a shared hatred for Spiderman and Act 2 is John Wick 3 styled in the sense that Spider-Man must confront the Sinister Six, who threatens both him and his loved ones. Act 3 can be where Tobey and Andrew come in to help Peter fight the Sinister Six, Endgame-style. This could ensure that the Sinister Six forms while still making the movie a Tom Holland movie. This, however, could end up being another Raimi Spider-Man 3 or TASM 2 if not done right.

No way Tobey and Andrew, as well as the villains, are just cameo characters. I think there’s a good chance we get figures for them.

Because like I said, it's holding things up and my hype for BW wasn't ever that high to begin with and at this point I have very little excitement for it. Yes, theater experience is better but at this point I just want BW to be over with so we can get to the bigger, better stuff. They should drop it on D+ for free not charge $30, especially after what WB just pulled.

$30 is overpriced, free Disney shareholders will not go for. I hope they release Black Widow at a reasonable price, like $10-20. I really don't want to wait a year.

A few things.I can’t speak for anyone else on what they’d like to see change but the ideas I bring forward is a greater volume of newer characters introduced annually as well as a more accurate print with greater attention to detail on the figures. I also want builds that focus more on relevant source materials and yes, structures. Looking at other Lego lines, creator for example. The modular sets are typically aimed at older builders but sets like the family house are aimed at builders age 8-12. A set like that meets the quality of build I would demand. Lego does not have to focus their sets on an adult population to improve its quality. Comparing the Creator Family House 31012 to this years Spider Base build, the 2013 Creator set is more intricate in its build and was $70 upon release compared to the overpriced and simplified build we get for e in 2021. My point is Lego sets don’t have to be 18+ to have good builds. If anything Lego has gone down in quality and simplified their builds over time, and a return to sets being under $100 and still meeting a size able build with a reasonable price per piece is what we want.

@cosmic Those thoughts are cool, but this is just a discussion forum, we don't change Lego's decisions. If you want to do that, one can go to Lego customer service (https://www.lego.com/en-us/service/email-us/choose-topic), or even better, try to find the contact info to a Lego product designer like this dude (https://brickset.com/sets/designer-Bjarke-Lykke-Madsen) (<-- Lego designer that built mediocre sets like the helicarrier, stark jet, and avengers compound) and contact him. I'm inspired to do this right now. I found some links to accounts (Bjarke Lykke Madsen" Youtube account discussion section), (https://www.cangialosidesign.com/about)<- Art and graphic designer at Lego. Talk to him about Minifigure or sticker design. I sent him an email. Or anyone like these people (matthew ashton, Cara Malorey-Vibert, Tom Parry). Convincing us won't achieve Lego world domination (hyperbole), them will.

Hope Lego does the characters well. Though I can't say I'm thaaat excited about Eternals. Seems to comic-y, even for marvel studios.

Do what you gotta do but I don't think personally contacting designers to tell them their sets are megablocks is the way to go here :sceptic: Change is definetely needed but that's not the way imo :shrug_confused:

I don't even know where to start with all the Marvel announcements. This is insane and please Lego give us Abomination for She-Hulk!

Yes please! Super excited for Armor Wars myself, such a cool storyline and I’m glad to be seeing more of Rhodey. With him and Riri on the slate now, we can potentially get more official MCU Iron Man figures with the old helmets. New armors are always welcome for everyone’s Hall of Armor.

Also, 2022 might be the best chance for a Marvel Advent Calendar with the GotG Holiday Special. :moar:

Armor Wars can finally give Lego excuses to make mechs haha. And YES the advent calendar is a great idea!

I'm honestly kinda disappointed by the lack anything completely new that we didn't already know about. They mostly just confirmed what was already revealed through castings and stuff trades had already reported on. There's still a lot of great stuff coming and great potential for new sets. It was definitely nice to finally get some trailers for a couple of the shows.

Hopefully the Spider-man 3 sets blow things out of the water. Having updated versions of all three of the Spider-men would be great, as some sadly have not lasted the test of time and deserve an updated version. Will also be nice hopefully getting a live action Sinister Six squad in a single wave.

Regarding Spider-man 3, I think people are overthinking the similarities between this and Spider-verse. It won't be an exact recreation of Spider-verse, it's simply going to have the former Spider-man versions play a role. Depending how deep we go with the multiverse stuff depends what we get in terms of figures. Most likely I'd expect any potential Matt Murdock aspect to be a cameo montage of Peter trying to approach people for help before eventually deciding to enlist the help of Doctor Strange, who we already know is part of this film and serves as Peter's mentor in this film. It could be as simple as the other Spider-men being cameos, but I'd honestly expect them to help Spider-man during the final act against the villain/villains - even if the supporting cast they have only appears briefly.

In regards to the villains; Doctor Octopus (Alfred Molina), Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal OR Peter Billingsley), Vulture (Michael Keaton), Electro (Jamie Foxx), Shocker (Bokeem Woodbine) and Scorpion (Michael Mando) seem to be the most likely as a form of Sinister Six. You could maybe swap Shocker out for another villain if needed such as Kraven (Who could fit the theme of Spider-man being hunted), potentially even Morbius, but we've already established all of these characters currently and Jamie Foxx & Alfred Molina were confirmed to be reprising so we have the makings of a Sinister Six.

I think the scenario will be more akin to Peter or Doctor Strange messing up resulting in Doctor Octopus and Electro escaping the multiverse (like a doorway being left open) and forming a Sinister Six with the current group that is after Spider-man with the goal of killing Spider-man. This then results in Peter using the multiverse to bring help via the other two versions of Spider-man.

Oh don´t get me wrong, I would love updated versions of the Tobey and Andrew suits, and they totally deserve those updates, but I don´t fell the ones LEGO did are all the way outdated...while the 2004 Spidey Suit may be a bit behind in terms of actual design the silver webbing still makes it stand out from the other Spidey minifgs. Andrew´s 2013 version really only needs dualmolded legs...

I get the idea, but they still look great to this day imo. (even if the 2013 one is expensive as hell...)

I must not have been keeping up to date with those reports, because Ironheart, Armor Wars, and Secret Invasion all took me completely by surprise!

It would certainly be nice if every single one of these properties got at least one LEGO set, but dang that is a lot of content to keep up with. Some definitely seem like safer bets than others - Armor Wars in particular could be extremely toyetic.

I’m just looking forward to getting more versions of the main MCU characters, as well as some new characters in Lego form. I only started collecting Lego Marvel sets this year and there are plenty of gaps in my character line-up.

Hopefully Lego starts capitalizing on all of the potential that Disney+ is presenting for sets. The Mandalorian and the new season of The Clone Wars were wildly successful and their recent set sales seem to reflect that. The original content on that streaming service is a goldmine that Lego has been slow at capitalizing on.

Ya I follow this stuff pretty closely so I knew these were coming but most of them are still pretty exciting and there's definitely a ton of set potential just thinking about what they could be adapting from the comics. I think one thing I'm most hopeful for is Kang the Conqueror in Ant-man 3. Imagine if we got a LEGO set of the Damocles!

Going after specific designers and employees isn't going to "solve" your perceived problems, and is also kind of rude. Please do not do this.
