Posted January 8, 20205 yr The mysterious stranger had stayed on the Atoll after Discovering the City twich Can't Be Found unlest Yee know ware to look. While the men made camp on the Island known as Shipwreck Cove the stranger took a launch and ordered it rowed to the nearby Island known as Mermaid Tears. It was know that this was the most swampy and dangerous. Legend had it that there were several mermaid holes with in her shores. As the launch neared it's destination it was clear that this chain of islands was no new discovery for the stranger. It was also clear by the dilapidated smuggler's shack that they we're not the first to make camp here. Comments welcomed!
January 8, 20205 yr Pretty cool trees, quite a neat idea! I love the half-buried croc too. And of course, good work on the boathouse. The whole creation has a kind of peaceful atmosphere, very pleasant.
January 8, 20205 yr The whole scene looks really nice, and the trees in particular are beautiful. Intriguing story as well.
January 8, 20205 yr Love those trees! Great use of the green whip piece. And the partially submerged croc (and boat) really add to the water effect. Wonderful scene!
January 8, 20205 yr As I said before I really love this one. Reminds me of some of the AC black flag missions. The croq I only just saw!! I really like how you are developing the story. Wonder what happens next on our SR mystery island

It is submerged and the water does go as close as I can get it but if you look from a different angle the effect is not great lol. If you've ever been in the swamp it's a very lonely feeling but always very calm ... I'm glad I was able to capture that feeling. The story should unfold over the course of this year. On 1/8/2020 at 10:12 AM, Capt Wolf said: Love those trees! Great use of the green whip piece. It's been a technic I remember classic Lego used to use on some of the jungle/pirate sets but obviously to an extreme to give the feel of the Spanish moss. The boat is actually submerged slightly since loaded with two heavy chests. The "wake" is actually a necessity to cover the gap. There was a super complicated jig created to achieve this. In RL you would just set the tiles in place lol On 1/8/2020 at 11:55 AM, Fraunces said: As I said before I really love this one. Reminds me of some of the AC black flag missions. I know it's been in the PM thread for some time now. You know the story is open to any Black Flag Sea Rats don't be afraid ... Perhaps your Captain wishes to hide his treasure on Phoenix Roust or search for the mythical mermaid on Mermaid Tears. 14 hours ago, Darnok said: Wow, loving this one, it just oozes atmosphere! Ah, I was wondering if it was that or if you had turned off the collision button.
