First, a public building: A shooting range.

Today it's field shooting, so the circular black targets are put to the side.

Nice idea Grimer. Never saw a firing range before!

BTW if the minifigs miss from there they should book themselves into an opticians =)

A really neat scenery.... but where´s your Charlton Heston MF...? Bang-bang on!

Well, the difficulty shooting in this situation is firing 6 shots in 6 seconds at three different targets.

Grimer and Röskva have been working in their yard, which now features a small pond.

The man in black is Mr Inconnu, who is just visiting.

Grimer and Röskva lives in the almost-standard 4996. Which is a rather cramped house, but I decided they needed a bed anyway.

Only space I could find was over the stairs. Decided to make a virtual mock-up of the upper floor to see if the bed I was planning would fit. It does and looks quite all right:

A nice pond, and the bed looks fine too, although it doesn´t look like there´s much headroom.... perhaps.... um.... bang-bang off....

Grimer tests the new bed.

The house has gotten a larger balcony and the garden has been re-arranged.

Grimer doesn't hit his head every morning when he wakes up?

I guess he does.

But in that case he still has his friend-Mr gun.

The 4996 in cafe configuration has gotten a red/white tiled floor

n08_3016.jpg

and outdoors new sunshades and more chairs and tables.

n08_3018.jpg

For part of its power needs, two wind turbines have been installed. Or possibly they are being installed in this photo, as both service cars are there.

n08_3020.jpg

Both the good part of the sun shades and the wind turbine are available at Lego Factory, if you want to see how I made them.

And a corner shop (exactly what it's selling is not clear):

Very nifty and stylish, especially the tool shed´s brilliant... and I know what I say, I recently embattled one of

those things on my own... man, do the designers of these sheds really think that I´m an octopus..?

A new office will be built and the architect has now handed in the final proposal:

Construction will start this weekend with a check for which parts will not be needed.

Carmen and Rustan are looking for a place to live.

These two houses have a good location, so it'll be one of them, but as neither has an interior yet, they haven't made a final decision.

Time for an office in Grimeton:

n08_4141-office.jpg

If I hadn't already had many of the pieces, I'd've made it a bit smaller.

Planning for some sun shades and solar panels.

LDD file at Lego Factory.

haha a firing range. Very funny, nice idea :)

Reminds me of Beverly Hills cop...

A new apartment building has just opened.

It's mostly made from the 4956 I never could get to fit in in any way.

As you see, not any really working interior as it's all faked only to look sort of representative from the outside.

Glad to see that Grimetown is growing. Don't sell yourself short on your interiors. Your partial interiors are better than alot of folks "full" interiors. Keep it up!

My only comments would be that the railing by the entrance to the apartment building doesn't look quite finished, the lawn area of that building looks a bit sparse, and rather than having orange accents on the balconies, and green at the entrance, perhaps the building could have one accent color. Maybe the blue from the awning, or the red from the roof would be a good choice.

Minor quibbles however for a well done pair of buildings.
