Captain Dee Posted January 26, 2020 Posted January 26, 2020 Whoa... that is incredible! The whole chest looks great, that chain looks so real and the jewelry is beautiful. And all those... microphones?? That is just brilliant part usage. Amazing. Quote
deraven Posted January 26, 2020 Posted January 26, 2020 Spectacular! Seriously NPU with the handles and the microphones! The chain is simple but looks great as well. Wonderful build! Quote
Brickvergnugen Posted February 4, 2020 Posted February 4, 2020 The handles and chain are really wonderful. Quote

This is a pretty decent Lego/AFOL glossary if you want to peruse it- some other more obscure stuff in there as well. https://www.brothers-brick.com/lego-glossary/ Quote

JaBaCaDaBra Posted February 10, 2020 Posted February 10, 2020 Amazing... I looks so good that I had to look twice to see that it's Lego. Quote
Jefry Been Posted February 10, 2020 Posted February 10, 2020 Well i leave comments not really often here, but.... THAT THING IS SO ASTONISHING!!!! Big scale gives so many opportunities for detailing. Huge chain is awesome!!! Microphones as rivets... I really had fun to look all those details, thank you) Quote
Svendp Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 OMG, this is so nice. Clever use of parts Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 Wow, at first sight I thought it was a real photo, the chain and the handles of the treasure chest are incredible! The shapes are not those of normal lego MOCs ... there is genius in this realization! Quote

Mister_Bruce Posted February 16, 2020 Posted February 16, 2020 Very impressed by this MOC. I looked hard, wondering if this was really LEGO or whether custom parts had been used. Well done - it looks awesome! Quote

I mean, it's only been in common use for a decade+ so I don't know what to tell you. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I've been browsing Lego forums for the last 13 years and have never met this acronym. But maybe I've just missed it. Now, I'm not saying you should not use it as well because some random dude is calling it vauge. Still, nice part usage is too general and subjective to say "wow NPU", instead of just writing it down. It should really mean someting more strict, IMHO... <- like this. So with this direciton any expression could be made into an acronym. But that's just me thinking out loud about the matter, don't take it as an attack. Anyway, I'm very off topic, forgive me. So I just say that I agree with you all the same, some nice part usage was done there for sure ;) Quote
