In the ruins of one of the food processing plants that had been destroyed during the civil war, Mick, Otzie, and Hugo find a New Republic E-Wing. Designed a produced by an Incom subsidiary, the E-Wing was supposed to have the best characteristics of the A-Wing and X-Wing combined. It hadn't lived up to its reputation, but it was still a reliable starfighter. Mick and his team dragged the camouflage netting off the starfighter and began searching it for clues. I doubt the New Republic would have two teams on a backwater planet like Anobis. So this has to be Kales! We're getting closer. OoC: More shots of the E-Wing - Quote
Darth Bjorn Posted February 1, 2020 Posted February 1, 2020 A bit bulky, but a nice ship for sure! Well done... And, probably one of your better background scenes... Thumbs up! Quote
goatman461 Posted February 1, 2020 Posted February 1, 2020 It does seem to be pretty big and the tree kind of makes me sad. You got some great greebling in there and I really like the connection to the wings. The wall is pretty nice as well. I shoot for 1m=3studs. With an E-Wing at 11.2m that would be about 34 studs. I think I counted 40 on your E-Wing. So I guess it's not as oversized as I thought, but maybe just thick? It is quite smooth and looks nice. The concept of another orange and black incom ship is cool, too. Quote
marvelBoy123 Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 I agree, the colour scheme is very nice as is the greebling. The scene is good to. I think that proportions is the main issue but I think that is something that a lot of us have found with this challenge. Quote
dvogon Posted February 3, 2020 Posted February 3, 2020 That's a difficult ship to build. I like a lot the engines apparatus on top and how it merges with the wings. The wall is also quite nice and the scenario is quite balanced. Quote
