StarBricks Posted February 7, 2020 Posted February 7, 2020 And here we are on February 7th. After a lot of work I present my last effort. K-Project SB00401 A UCS scale MOC of the K-2so droid that appeared in Rogue One. 3470 bricks and 1 minifig - lenght 25,6 cm - width 21.5 cm - height 76.9 cm I designed and built this MOC to be scaled with the two splendid official sets 10225 (R2-D2) and 75187 (BB-8). It has been a long time since I wanted to make a different MOC than usual and I hope you like it. treffer21 Posted February 7, 2020 Posted February 7, 2020 Happy birthday mirko! Again a masterpiece!! Quote
Space_jaco Posted February 7, 2020 Posted February 7, 2020 (edited) Wow amazing Mirko! Again you managed to impress us with you skills. This K2SO is so big!!! And happy birthday by the way!!! Edited February 7, 2020 by Space_jaco Happy birthday Quote
Frizzlefry25 Posted February 7, 2020 Posted February 7, 2020 First off, Happy Birthday Mirko! You have an amazing way of celebrating your birthday. Secondly, I love K2, and your totally caught me off guard with the droid, amazing work as always! The details are simply brilliant, and I can't wait to build this two and half foot tall droid! I know historically your MOC's don't utilize rare pieces, is that again the case here? Also, they have started off an existing set (that could be bought as a starting point). I am guessing that is a no as well? Congrats again, on another mind blowing MOC! Quote
AndrewShun Posted February 7, 2020 Posted February 7, 2020 Wouldn't characterize any of those two sets as 'splendid' Quote
macaron35 Posted February 7, 2020 Posted February 7, 2020 You are truly a talented MOC designer. The attention to details and the way you used the bricks are very creative. Just looking at how you built the hands is amazing. Designers like you really deserve more recognition from TLG. Quote
waden34 Posted February 7, 2020 Posted February 7, 2020 That is incredible! Never would have guessed this one in a million years, but well done!! Quote
Bandit778 Posted February 7, 2020 Posted February 7, 2020 Seriously impressive. Definitely one to build when instructions become available. Love it, your best yet IMO (and the others were exceptional). Quote
Mandalorianknight Posted February 7, 2020 Posted February 7, 2020 Abosolutely amazing! It's really cool that you built it to scale with the other sets, and happy birthday! Quote
Ellisss_2 Posted February 7, 2020 Posted February 7, 2020 Happy birthday, fantastic build I love the internals! Quote
TwoSolitudes Posted February 7, 2020 Posted February 7, 2020 Surprising choice, and a fantastic build! Quote

I apologize for the late reply and if I have linked only a few but I really thank everyone !! Thanks for the good wishes (unfortunately I am a year older and the 99 years are approaching and I will no longer be able to play with LEGO ...) Thanks for the compliments .. I am really happy that you like my MOC. There is a lot of work behind it and I dreamed of doing this droid from the first time I saw it in the film. Quote

macaron35 Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 knowing what you are capable of, I wish that you would recreate helmets like Kylo Ren's MadebyBBB teased about their work but there is no clue about if it will be released for real and for which price... Quote

Yes, I saw the MOC of Kylo Ren's helmet and I find it fantastic. But I prefer to focus on new MOCs and new themes. Quote
