February 24, 20205 yr @Jim extended the deadline to Thursday. Maybe this gives you enough time to rework that video... The blinking is indeed horrible.
February 27, 20204 yr I appreciate your comment @1980SomethingSpaceGuy, but to be completely honest I'm utterly burnt out on this project. I was very enthusiastic at the beginning, but as with a lot of my LEGO projects, what usually starts as a joyful hobby turns into a bit of a stressful chore. I did learn a lot of stuff whilst making this. No.1 being the importance of careful planning right at the beginning. No.2 being the fact that simple mechanisms are the most efficient. No.3 being that I really ought to invest in BuWizz and some more XL motors; all my projects end up being fairly large and can't handle the strain. Anyway, it is what it is! I've been a big lurker of these forums for a long time now, so am pleased to finally participate in the community, as well as learn a thing or two. Good luck to all the other competitors! I look forward to the next competition, and hopefully next time, giving a bit more thought to pre-production, and maybe scaling things down a little. Cheers! (FYI this is the same user as Jobo)
February 27, 20204 yr You don't seem to be lacking ideas, that's the most important thing. You'll do better next time ! Cheers !
