I'm back with a revised (and instruction-ized:laugh:) version of Florence Cathedral (Duomo of Santa Maria del Fiore) I originally created back in 2017, but never posted on EB. The original model was built with real bricks in Florence Cathedral Museum thanks to the great team of Toscanabricks LEGO fan group, excited by the digital pics of the model I showed on an Italian LEGO forum. I finally managed to make instructions for it and I modified the domes (both Brunelleschi's and the three twins above the apses) with the newly released 1x2 rounded plates. I included a pic of the original model displayed at Museo dell'Opera del Duomo at the bottom of the gallery (photo not by me). Hope you like it!!

That's incredible!!! Wow!

Wow. Impressive indeed.

I really admire how you did the big dome roof.  Very clever.

Are the instructions you mentioned available anywhere?

Bravo Giacinto!
I've always been your admirer and friend. I supported your project of the Duomo of Florence from the earliest times and it remains your most striking work. Congratulations also to the changes!

Thank you! By the way, another Italian landmark is coming soon: St Mark's Basilica!!

This is just astonishing! great work... no words for it.

Those colors are absolutely beautiful! This is a gorgeous replica of the cathedral! :grin_wub:

This is marvelous.

I was once in the original one in Florence.

How many pieces does it have?

Is the interior some how done?

Simply Marvelous.

Brilliant work on the designs of the domes using the 1x2 rounds, truly excellent.

Thank you everybody. It contains more than 16000 bricks-no interiors though!

Masterpiece is an understatement, i have no words!

Grandissimo Giacinto!

I  had already admired your masterpiece two years ago at Brick in Florence, where I exhibited my trains, but I must recognize that your new version managed to improve a work that was already almost perfect.

Complimenti davvero.

I saw this cathedral for 16 years ago ... you did a great job! :wub_drool:

Great use of colors to represent marbles!
