Man with a hat Posted March 16, 2020 Posted March 16, 2020 Oh. Nice little church. I like you put it an an angle with respect to the baseplate. Simple, but it makes it so much more attractive and realisitic. Quote
Vindicare Posted March 16, 2020 Posted March 16, 2020 Great scene. I really like the tree. Never seen those bamboo leaf pieces used with those other leaf pieces before. It’s a nice, full look. Quote
Maple Posted March 26, 2020 Posted March 26, 2020 It's really nice. I'm trying to figure out how you got the little gap in the cheese slopes to make the cross windows. Quote
gotoAndLego Posted March 29, 2020 Posted March 29, 2020 Those are cheese slopes; you see this technique a lot in castle builds. It really is a nice effect. Quote
weeble1688 Posted March 29, 2020 Posted March 29, 2020 I think - and I hope someone corrects me if I am wrong - that the long vertical space is just the difference between the 2 plate height of cheese slopes and the length of a 1x2 brick. The short horizontal space is from using 2 bricks modified 1x1 with stud on 1 side (#87087) placed atop on another - it naturally makes that 1/2 plate space when you attach a single cheese slope to each of the top and bottom #87087 brick. I hope this helps - gotta love Lego geometry! Quote
