This is one of my latest mocs, the mosquito.

It is a lightweight fighter/scout vehicle - very agile. I am especially pleased with all the angles.

It is my first spaceship in a few years so I'd love to know what you guys think

It looks like it belongs as part of those relatively new space sets

Good Job :sweet:

I like the use of Hikaru's face with the Rebel Pilot helmet, it matches very well!

The plane engines also work well. I just wish the Astro Fighter was like this

A very cool looking little fighter in a great color scheme. The greeble blends in fantastic and adds to the overall organic look of that fine craft.

Hey, it isn't studless. I counted 20 studs at least. That being said it is still too unlegoish for me.

Nice little ship though. Why is it the mosquito? I expected longer legs, big wings, and a stinger. Instead I see a cute little scout craft. I can see dozens of the little ships buzzing around a larger one, so in that sense it works. I would have done it differently but it is looking really nice as is.

I like all the little correctional thrusters everywhere. It looks like it would fly circles around most ships.

Thanks everyone!

Where did I say it was?

Well I didnt build it around the name, I just started building a spaceship. I called it the mosquito because of the way it sits, the gun on the front and a personal thing too (well kind of). You see my Great uncle made a car with the brother of Geoffrey de Havilland who made many famous WW2 aircraft. One of my favourite of his planes was the Mosquito :wub:Mosquito.jpg

And It has 2 engines and a round cockpit so I figured I should call it that. I might try building that plane some day...

Anyway that is why it is called the mosquito. As for it's purpose, who knows.... :look: ....

I love this little thing, saw it on brickshelf before  I really like the angles of the wings, and just how fast and agile it looks. I have no complaints about it whatsoever. The engines and everything else are very fitting.

Good stuff!

Nice plane! It looks small and deadly. It can fly at a lightning speed. Looks real neat. Somehow it reminded me of the miniature version of V-19 Torrent (Star Wars)

The de Havilland Mosquito was always one of my favourite warplanes alongside the Focke-Wulf and P-38 Lightning. The fact that it was made a lot out of wood always fascinated me.

Now onto the main subject

Fantastic moc here Benk, I love the whole look of it and clever use of pieces. I don't usually like the whole "using pieces for things you wouldn't expect" angle, but here it serves a good purpose and actually looks really good and fits in. Great job with the whole thing, I love the colour scheme too.

I thank you kindly. What piece did I use for a thing you didnt expect? just curious.

Ah, SNOTy, yet still with greebs! My favourite kind of MOC! This is really cool, Benk, I love the landing gear, they add detail when up and they look good when down too. :sweet: Very sleek and a neat colour scheme too, great job!

Perfectly alright, the phones and wrenches (? I should know that, my day uses them all the time ) were the pieces I was referring too. I also was referring to pieces like a couple of 1x1s and dishes used in clever way, which turned out very neat.
