The Sarge Posted March 25, 2020 Posted March 25, 2020 Hi, I was hoping someone knew what fabric would be closest to the stiff cape fabric Lego uses. I haven't done any custom cloth before but I want to make about 60 bayonet frogs for my Bluecoats. Thanks! Quote
weeble1688 Posted March 25, 2020 Posted March 25, 2020 I *think* that the stiff fabric Lego uses is similar to something called broadcloth if I recall correctly. I tried searching the internet - it appears that if it can be found, acrylic-coated fabric may be closest. This info is just what I recall from researching this idea several years ago plus an online search just now. Best of luck with your project! Quote
miniman Posted March 26, 2020 Posted March 26, 2020 I suggest you to check http://www.capes4minifigs.com/. Beside the capes, you can see some fabric names. I hope it helps. Quote
The Sarge Posted March 27, 2020 Author Posted March 27, 2020 Thanks guys! It looks like polycotton broadcloth will be close, judging by the capes4minifigs site. Acrylic coated stuff only seems to be available in patterns. Quote
