Ahoy,

let me start something which I haven't seen in this part of the forum: A collection of 16 pirate-related minifigs:

You may have seen some of them in my MOCs before.

piratefigbarf3.jpg

Let us go into the details:

piratefigbarf4.jpg

Captain Braunsfeld - Napoleon - A Royal Painter - Spanish Captain

piratefigbarf5.jpg

A Drunk Captain - Court Lady - A crew member - Captain Banana-Breath (borrowed from its creator)

piratefigbarf6.jpg

A Merchant - Mozart with his piano - A Rogue - Sir Isaac Newton

piratefigbarf7.jpg

British Parrot Collector - Spanish Musketeer - A Salty Dog - His Wife

C&C welcome.

Awesome. I was just thinking that there should be more of this after seeing some of the science fiction figures on that sub-forum.

I forgot: Everybody is welcome to join in and present his/her collection of pirate figures!

Good.

I'm sure I've seen some of them before.

Yes, as you have commented some of my MOCs. Thanks!

Great minifigures Captain!! Captain Braunsfeld, Nepoleon, & Mozart are my favorites.

Cool idea as well,

I like the both spanish, Napoleon and your old sigfig the most

Some very nice figs in here! You've inspired me to update the crew I made for my ship quite some time ago (and possibly add a few new members).

I'm always a fan of a good fig barf Captain Braunsfeld. It's cool to see one on pirates forum as normally they don't bwnture too far from the scifi forum. I like most the top left which you had used as a sigfig. I'm not sure but I don't think Captain Banana is truly a pirate figure.

Nice, gotta make one too. :D

Thanks for your feedback and contribution!

He appears in several of my pirate MOCs. pir_laugh2.gif

And he says it's ok!

Nice, gotta make one too. :D

Yes, please! Let's turn this into a pirate figbarf thread!

Here's mine! Most are crew members that I had originally done some time ago, with some adjustments made. I then made a few non-crew members while I was in the groove. Forgive the picture quality on a few of these! Sorry for the generic names.

Amazing - the ones I like the most are the captain and the witch doctor! pir_laugh2.gif

A really good collection (fleshies). I don't think I can say where some of the heads are from.

@Everyone else - pls. join in!

Great collections from both of you. I like this thread. Maybe I will participate.

Thanks! To be honest, I'm not even sure where some are from, since they've been stored all together in a "heads" box for so long. I could probably look through the sets I own and figure them out quick enough. After doing this and the GoH challenge, I realize how much I enjoy doing figs. I hope more people post some of their own, although I wonder if the title is keeping people from realizing they can post their own here as well.

Please do. I look forward to seeing more pirate figs!

Ok, well I have done three collections now (pirates, steampunk and GoH). It was fun!

Who would be able to change the title of the post? And which title would work?

C&C welcome.

Where in the world did you get that 1960's hair for His Wife???

Here are the figures that I have currently put together. I just got some new heads today, so there are more than when I posted the pirate army in the army thread, also close up pictures.

Nice bunch of guys!

They are all pirates, aren't they? Some of their enemies would also be allowed pir_laugh2.gif

I plan on putting together a unit of 10 soldiers with the black torso with breastplate, sort of a Dearth's Head Hussar and Cuirassier hybrids. From my bins: I have 10 blue coats, 8 red coats, and a admiral/governor for each, a daughter for each governor/admiral, and a few Union soldiers from the Old West. I don't know how many more are in there.

This might be fungo participate in but most of my guys are custom.
