Hello to community,

below a small digital MOD / MOC, a redesign of the classic pirates set 6267 Lagoon Lock-Up from 1991. I'm also a bit in the barracuda bay hype, while waiting for the set I played a bit around with the pirates theme and also photoshop. ;-)

Maybe you like the redesign.

Edit: I also created building instructions for the MOC, you can download them (PDF File, for free, no registration) at the Webpage of my local RLUG under the below URL:

If you like the MOC and/or the Instructions I would be really happy if you would vote for my LEGO Ideas Project Queen Elizabeth II at the LEGO Ideas Website:

https://bit.ly/legoqueenelizabeth I would really appreciate.  :-)

Happy Building. :-)

Stay safe and healthy,

Added Instructions to the Header and post. Updated link to instructions.

It's absolutely amazing! So simple and small, yet so rich and lively!

Since you have photoshop skills, please make a side by side comparison with the original 6267 Lagoon Lock-Up.

This is definitely a great MOC!

And a side by side comparison with the original set.

Great remake! Love it! I have the original lock up too and this is a very correct modernization. I though of something like this but I can't top this

Yeah, that's really nice modernized version. Love almost everything about it, without missing much the old style. Only the sail and Lt. de Martinet's tricorn, but that's after looking at it for ten minutes :pir_laugh2:

Nice modernized version of a Classic for sure.

I still like how they based the ticket booth/entrance to the Pirate Roller Coaster on the Lagoon Lock-up set as well, with the red/blue awning and palmtree at the corner.

Very nice work, congratulations!

Greetings from Luxembourg.

I found no sail in Bricklink Studio, that's the reason.

Indeed, you're right. I never paid attention on this when I built the Coaster together with my daughter. :look:

Hello.

@SteamSewnEmpire

Yesterday I finished the building instructions for the MOC. You can download them for free at:

Thank you very much for your feedback. Yes, it's the typical nostalgia, but it's however nice to travel back to childhood (even if I missed all the Pirates Stuff due to the dark ages.) :-)

Regards,

legolux1973

Cool! I downloaded the instructions right away :pir-classic:

And yes, lego should finally release pirate sets (and castle) again^^

Thanks!

You don't happen to have an XML fire for it that's good to go for Brinklink, do you?

Ah ok, that's a good reason, I was so blinded by the beauty that I didn't even realize it was from stud.io. Well done :pir-huzzah2:

This is really nice. I love the transparent blue parts over other colours for the water.

Just found this thread today, love it! Is there any chance someone managed to save the instructions? The link no longer works...
