So since my last activity here, I have been working with getting all my medieval builds into a layout. Last year after the latest build, I thought of ideas to what landscape it could work with. Since all houses are build on small islands with many colors, i transfered it into a big lake as being the world. The lake souroundings and all the water was not that hard to pull of. Placing the houses and connecting them with woodbridges was a way to do it. Also i made some smaller boats and a few riverrafts. It finally was completed during december 2019 and ik february 2020 it had its debut in Legoworld Copenhagen. All the water is a big puzzle with a number line up to make it easy to set up.

That's a great idea.  I like how all the buildings are unique and each has a unique landscape and vegetation around it.  The water looks great and lets the builds stand out.  Wonderfully done.

Love the variety of buildings, and this was a great way to display them all.  I like that you included those outcroppings of rock as well and the rafts, etc., to give it a little more going on.  I would suggest more difference in elevation between islands for future builds both for more variety as well as protection: one extra-high tide and all of those buildings will be flooded!

What an amazing display! The little islands and their buildings look very nice, all different but all coherent. The amount of detail is impressive. The idea of displaying the builds on a lake, connected with the bridges and stone fords, is pure genius.

noticed a typo...

It is quite islandic.

Very nice display. Lots of details to discover in the builds. The eye keeps finding new things to focus on.
