Best of luck in surviving the dreaded ‘Review Sea’. May the wind of fortune carry you safely across the treacherous shallows, a graveyard for many great designs, to the other side up to the hall of Poseidon who will approve and delight, as we all do, in your fabulous creation.

Nice. I would buy it. Have an idea of the possible price (according to piece list and similar items)?
Asking this because lots of huge ideas purposes are frequently made, some of those are probably too expensive for most of the target. This seems to be the right size!

Let's not get too far ahead of ourselves...  even if it does pass review, the LEGO Design Team will completely re-engineer the design and therefore the piece list could change dramatically from the design submitted to LEGO Ideas.

Very happy to hear. But I hope they don't go and ruin it like they did with the Pirate Bay set. Was so pissed off with that. Still trying to build it like the original on my own.

Looks fantastic this, I just hope that Lego will do a proper pirate theme again soon

How do you define "proper"?

If they release a wave of sets intended for retail release, they'll be aimed at the 7-12 year old market.

If you want sets which break new frontiers, they'll need to be released as exclusives or through LEGO Ideas.

Both would be nice, because that will target all Lego fans.

As you put a 'retail release' will be great for children and those fans of us who are on a bit of a budget. Then as well they could do exclusives and ideas for those Lego fans who are multi-millionaires to afford £150+ sets
