While I'd be okay with that minifig selection, I'm hoping for something more representing of the movies as a whole rather than going for scene accuracy (i.e., Paul, Leto, Jessica, Chani, and the Baron). Unless we're getting a follow-up set at some point of course Quote
Lion King Posted July 29, 2023 Posted July 29, 2023 Ghost of Tsushima (video game) set at adults would be great but maybe not likely for Lego. Quote

The one most likely to be in the set is the Atreides model, IMO. 18 hours ago, Mandalorianknight said: Unfortunately (for classic space purposes at least, Speaking of Classic Space, does anyone else think that the Galaxy Explorer canopies could be used for the ‘thopter’s cockpit (one on each side, mounted via SNOT)? 🤔 Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted August 2, 2023 Posted August 2, 2023 According to brickmerge, there’s a new theme coming next March with the set numbers 77046 to 50. Could this be a licensed theme? The numbers are pretty close to the Indy ones from this year (77012-77015) Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted August 2, 2023 Posted August 2, 2023 Allegedly, it’s an Animal Crossing theme!! Quote
Grabdatgem Posted August 7, 2023 Posted August 7, 2023 Did I read somewhere that planet of the apes was meant to be in dimensions??? If so does anyone think Lego might do a one off set next year for the new film, similar to what they’re doing for Dune. Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted December 29, 2023 Posted December 29, 2023 According to the latest rumours on IG (courtesy of @Lego_Minecraft_Goat), 75580-83 aren't Avatar sets despite the numbers directly following the 2023 sets Since @Falconfan1414 has previously hinted at multiple 2024 movies getting sets, could this theme codenamed "orange" be for an upcoming film? Oh sweet, always fun to have a wildcard wave out there! The big 2024 movies that feel like the most likely candidates to me are probably Despicable Me 4 and that new Ghostbusters. Quote
Yperio_Bricks Posted December 30, 2023 Posted December 30, 2023 Since we got one Dune set, maybe we get more for Dune Part Two? Arrakis is kinda orange Quote

Arrakis is kinda orange IIRC “Orange” was just the codename, and entirely unrelated to the actual theme/license. Dune is possible (and I would love that!), but it could really be anything. Quote

My guess is Despicable Me 4. Technically a new theme (hence a new codename), and LEGO-friendly too! Inside Out 2 is another guess, but I would expect that to be a 4+ theme, which should entail different set numbers. The biggest mystery to me are the set numbers. Can‘t think of another example where a new theme seamlessly continues another theme‘s numbers. Even Animal Crossing has a 30 number gap to Indy! Quote

And yeah, the codenames usually have nothing to do with the actual content of the theme, but if you want to take "Orange" literally, there's always Garfield. Actually, come to think of it, has anyone compiled a list of the preliminary codenames of themes paired with what they ended up being? IIRC correctly, Sonic the Hedgehog was "Lemon" and Hidden Side was "Banana," so maybe someone just likes fruit. Quote

Leaf: Super Mario Banana: Minions Titan: Dreamzzz Coconut: Avatar Pineapple: Indiana Jones Sparkles: Gabby‘s Dollhouse Lemon: Sonic Animal Crossing had one too, but I forgot. Bubblegum, perhaps? Pop Star c o Posted December 30, 2023 Posted December 30, 2023 Gumdrop. Also, Fortnite has codename Juno. Quote
DragonElves Posted December 30, 2023 Posted December 30, 2023 Could it be Lego based off Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora game and had to have a different code name because it’s not part of the movies? Quote

There are two rumored Brickheadz with description [Gaming IP Juno]. Also, in the files of the actual LEGO Fortnite game, someone found the game files had the word 'juno' in them, so it's apparent the Brickheadz are for Fortnite. Quote

There was an IG post from a reliable leaker (I forget who) a few months ago that hinted at a bunch of new themes and Minifigs (including Animal Crossing, Fortnite, and Captain Rex); the post included a hint about “Orange” and a hint about Minions/Despicable Me, so I doubt that those are the same. Given that we're getting a new Animal Crossing theme and a potential The Legend of Zelda set in 2024, perhaps these won't be the only Nintendo IPs we might see next year. Additionaly, the main character is usually depicted as an orange-haired squid girl. Quote

Rivendell was last year - so they might have decided to bring it back based on it´s sucess - however we yet have no proof that we will see the theme back as whole other than Barad-Dur. And we will see whether this will be an Icons set or not - as for more sets, time will tell. I could see them doing some Brickheadz again but those aren´t an own theme either. Quote
