I doubt it, simply because we already have what is effectively an in-house PR/Sentai theme in the form of Ninjago - We are even getting a Megazord-style mech this year: Quote

Power Ranger rights just jumped from Habboro to Disney then to Nickledon then now back to Hasboro. But didn’t Hasboro own Star Wars toys? Business stuff is not just my best skill. jonwil Posted January 28, 2022 Posted January 28, 2022 The difference is that with Star Wars, Disney owns it and has given Hasbro a specific set of rights in the franchise. But with Power Rangers, Hasbro has complete rights to everything. Quote

I remember seeing Power Rangers on Nickledogn tv channel after Jungle Fury (2008). EDIT: You stand correct - Sagan did repurchase this Power Ranger franchise from Disney and actually entered partnership with Nickledon for broadcasting rights. I was very confused business stuff. 1 hour ago, Poodabricks said: Tbh, I wouldn't mind some Lego sets centered around Power Rangers! Same here! It would be awesome. Mr No Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 Disney greenlit a live action Percy Jackson show for D+. This with Spiderwick Chronicles also for D+ could bring us some cool themes, if both Lego and Disney are interested. https://variety.com/2022/tv/news/percy-jackson-and-the-olympians-series-disney-plus-1235162882/ Quote

Percy Jackson sets would fill a mythology niche thst's been missing from Lego for awhile. If the series does reasonable at all I'd bet there's be sets. Would make me a happy, I'm a big fan of Riordan, too! Quote

I really want to see some mytholical creatures and Greek deities (in flesh tones, ofc). I would hope it happens in a near future. Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 As long as the series is better than the two films, I wouldn‘t mind sets based on it Well, it can‘t be much worse. Who on Earth thought it was a good idea to replace the literal god of war with some lame teenager with weak motivations?! I wasn’t familiar with the books, so I was surprised when I recently learned about this switcheroo. Just baffling. Without trying to insult him, that‘s as if Draco was the main villain of the first HP film Quote

Yeah, HP sure would‘ve worked just as well if everyone was 15-16 in the first instalment If they stick to the books with the ucoming show, they may have a hit on their hands Quote

Percy Jackson being a hit would be good for them, and maybe we get a theme or an Ideas set (which can be made right now, PJ is allowed on Ideas). Narnia would be great too but the rights are at Netflix now and no idea when they start filming the first film or show. On the fantasy side, I saw Wheel of Time is also allowed on the Lego Ideas, which surprised me. Quote
Lion King Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 I have no idea what is Wheel of Time… But Narnia and Percy Jackson themes would be awesome. There would be a lot of new parts, such as swords, creature molds, armories, and more. What a shame that Narnia rights belong to Netflix since Disney no longer had that rights several years ago. So Narnia has no chance for Lego. 1 hour ago, BrickBob Studpants said: As long as the series is better than the two films, I wouldn‘t mind sets based on it Well, it can‘t be much worse. Without trying to insult him, that‘s as if Draco was the main villain of the first HP film Percy would misinterpret that the literal god of war as a true villian but in the end, it’s a teenager, who has attempted to exact his revenge on Greek gods. So I don’t think it’s a week motivaiton at all. Of course, here is not a Book Club to discuss. We are here to discuss about Lego. Quote

Because you said Lego Narnia won't happen because of Netflix, well I said LEGO HAS A DEAL WITH NETFLIX thanks to ST, it was an example. Jesus. Netflix will make their own Narnia, I said LEGO Netflix Narnia might happen, we will never get Lego Disney Narnia sets. Quote
