Posted May 26, 20204 yr Hello to everyone, I am here with the new Lego MOC - 1969 Mercedes-Benz 280SL. I revised a few of the original designs. Some of the important ones are that the side mirrors continue without breaking the oval line at the place where the door exits. Updating the engine as 6 cylinders. Just like the upper part of the hood looks more smoothly oval, with more smooth lines. June 4, 20204 yr Awesome! Those 1960s Mercedes were some of the most beautiful cars ever produced IMO - the 280SL and the 220SE. This MOC also fits perfectly with the DB5 and the Mustang - amazing job!
June 14, 20204 yr I'm not such a Mercedes fan but as model, it looks really great. Smooth and with great details and the color looks good too. Also like the use of those paintrollers on the enginebay, great idea.
