Darth Bjorn Posted May 27, 2020 Posted May 27, 2020 *Your entry has earned 10 XP* Excerpt from TK-5334 mission log: An intelligence report by General Secura had us spearheading an investigation of one of the most remote backwater planets in the galaxy. Her report stated that Separatists had established a small network of clanker bases in the forests, but our initial recon sweep proved to be rather disappointing. To be frank I’m not really sure the natives need any assistance with these clankers… /// This build was primarily made to test out a tree trunk technique. I'll definitely be using that in another moc soon... Spoiler A scouting or hunting platform abandoned deep in the forest... The natives are sending a message... The trunk seen from the back... Below the platform... Another view below the platform... Quote
Simulterious Posted May 27, 2020 Posted May 27, 2020 Great build! The tree trunk really does look great, I'm sure it would be even better on a larger scale... Quote
Ross Fisher Posted May 27, 2020 Posted May 27, 2020 OMG, I love this. Those minifigs, the platform, the landscape! It's all perfect. Quote
dvogon Posted May 28, 2020 Posted May 28, 2020 A ton of details in there. I like your tree build and the platform is very convincing. The droid small place is a nice touch. Well done! Quote
Darth Bjorn Posted May 29, 2020 Author Posted May 29, 2020 Thanks guys - @Simulterious that's my thinking... I've always had a soft spot for the classic SW environments (Endor, Hoth and Tatooine) I hope to do more in those climates... Quote
marvelBoy123 Posted May 29, 2020 Posted May 29, 2020 Great build, so many nice details as always! Quote
DrMuttonchops Posted May 29, 2020 Posted May 29, 2020 As others have said, great details, I love the tree trunk build and the SNOT platform!. The camo bandana from Stranger Things works great in this environment too! Did you cut/make the cloth underneath the netting roof? I especially love the searchlight, that's a great part usage that I hadn't thought of! Quote
Darth Bjorn Posted May 30, 2020 Author Posted May 30, 2020 @DrMuttonchops Always a pleasure to get your feedback! The cloth pieces are from the Pirates of the Caribbean Ghost Ship. Quote
