metalandi Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 I have tried several times to click on the "Track your order" link on the account page at Shop @ Home when i ordered new sets, but there always just comes a window which says the link is broken after i click "continue" in the small window. Does anybody else have this issue, too? Quote

Does anybody else have this issue, too? Yes! I reported it months ago and they've never fixed it. Here's the workaround: Rightclick the "track your order link" and paste it in notepad. You should be able to spot the actual tracking number in it. Take that to the appropriate shipper and use their tracking directly. It's a hassle, but it works. Quote

Even when it does to take me to the courier website the tracking code had never worked. Quote
captaintau Posted May 20, 2008 Posted May 20, 2008 I don't bother checking anymore. In every case where I've tracked my order, it only works when my item is at the nearest depot. So my item turns up within the hour! I call it efficient service Quote
Siegfried Posted May 20, 2008 Posted May 20, 2008 Oh. I've had this problem for years and I assumed it was just an Australian issue... Quote
AFOL SF Posted May 20, 2008 Posted May 20, 2008 Oh. I've had this problem for years and I assumed it was just an Australian issue... Very interesting... all these years and I thought it was me who doesn't know how to work it properly. Just like most of you, I stopped using this service out of frustration and give S@H at least 2 weeks for delivery of my orders from date-of-order. After that time, I'd call their Customer Service Dept and inquire. Quote
medib Posted May 20, 2008 Posted May 20, 2008 Very interesting... all these years and I thought it was me who doesn't know how to work it properly. Just like most of you, I stopped using this service out of frustration and give S@H at least 2 weeks for delivery of my orders from date-of-order. After that time, I'd call their Customer Service Dept and inquire. I called Lego and talked to customer service for an old order that I'm waiting on. They gave me a DHL (that's the courier service they use in the USA) tracking number. I used the number to verify the tracking on DHL.com (and picked usa as the country)... I think in my case, in particular, that the US Postal Service, well, my local Post Office, messed up handling the shipment, because the DHL website says "delivery attempted" at the post office... and strangely that there wasn't a package for me there. Hope this helps a bit.... I think the tracking part from Lego.com stopped working when they moved their Shop@Home fulfillment centre from Enfield, CT to Tennessee and started using DHL. Just my theory. Thanks, Ben M. Quote
