Lok24 Posted June 12, 2020 Posted June 12, 2020 (edited) There are two things that are on the roadmap that I would preferre: Support for the "City Hub" and what I think is really essential, is the " remote handset" Why? It offers the chance to influence the behavior of the program without any smart device. And that's what many users complain about. Trains: A City Hub, two technic motors and a handset to control .... Lok24 Posted June 14, 2020 Posted June 14, 2020 Nice. As the developemnet is running via browser, does that mean that you always need internet connection if you want to anything with it? Or will there be a method to start a programm offline? Or did I miss something? Quote

No, no Internet connection is required. You can save locally the page, and write code without problem ;) Quote

Lok24 Posted June 16, 2020 Posted June 16, 2020 Hi, did anybody find a way to download the latest build and replace the main.py to make a program resident? Quote
Lok24 Posted June 16, 2020 Posted June 16, 2020 The link is active now: https://github.com/pybricks/pybricks-micropython/actions?query=workflow%3ABuild+ (this is the one flagged as "available soon") Quote

GianCann Posted June 16, 2020 Author Posted June 16, 2020 I using the latest firmware:https://github.com/pybricks/pybricks-micropython/releases v3.0.0a2 Quote
Lok24 Posted June 17, 2020 Posted June 17, 2020 Thanks for your efforts, I'll will try..... As I'm not very experienced with that all I will come back with other questions.....stay tuned. Quote
Lok24 Posted June 17, 2020 Posted June 17, 2020 The link in the description only leads to the workflow? I now found this: https://github.com/pybricks/pybricks-micropython/releases/tag/v3.0.0a3 That contains a json file, the firmware as bin and the main.py. If I understand correctly I shold replace the main.py, zip again and drop the zip onto the frimware button in the browser. But why is the original main.py not empty, as I expected? Thanks for your support in advance, nice Video Quote
