Okay, cool, thanks to both of you. I'll probably build the wheels as originally specified then. Though for now I will be swapping the plate and technic brick for the jack shaft to bring it in line with the wheels. With only 1 plate offset I'm not seeing any way to squeeze a second rod in there and make it look good.

can you give me the references of the brick (modification between boogie and cabin, L shape, as well as 1 x1 brick with vertical tenon).  Very cordially.

Quick fix to reduce the height of the pantograph by 1 plate.

Replace the 2 insulator holders and their 2x2 plate with 2 new dark grey 1x2 plate with handle #2540, the green insulators fit on the hinge ends (just turned around). So you will need 4 in total, 2 per pantograph.
