September 18, 20204 yr Beautiful station! The subdued colors gives some real life looks and some wear and tear. The outside walls - are they made with the 11211 brick (1x2 with studs on 1 side) and its little brother the 1x1 ? https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=11211 https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=87087#T=C Those walls ... there will never be a way back

September 27, 20204 yr Author I took the advice from @zephyr1934 and added the triangle tiles to the roof to see how they would work. The only problem was putting the last ones on, due to clearance issues. I think it turned out great. I also made a new tree to replace the old birch tree from the bookshop with a big oak tree, a symbol of the town. They don't call it "the forest city" for nothing. I do need to order some more leaves, though. And last but not least, I've been trying out several lighting types in order to get that warm and cozy feel, as white LEDs were too bright. That's all for now.
September 27, 20204 yr Thanks for the info about the studs. The new additions (roof, oak and light) look well ... also :) What lightning did you end up with?

I don't know, I'm still trying to figure it out, I think I'm going to go with Brickstuff's warm white LED's
