BardDandelion Posted July 10, 2020 Posted July 10, 2020 Hello, would like to share my newest model of unit from Warhammer 40k universe. "Penitent Engines charge towards the foe heedless of danger, knowing that only in death, theirs or the enemy’s, can absolution be earned. The arms of the engine, mounted with enormous flamers, blaze a trail of fiery destruction as it thunders forwards. Upon reaching the enemy, the chemical and synaptic inputs pumped into the pilot are altered, causing them to see their own face in the faces of their foes. Thrashing at those before it, each a reflection of their unfathomable guilt, they rampage through the enemy’s battle lines leaving death and carnage in their wake." Quote
Farseer Petriel Posted July 10, 2020 Posted July 10, 2020 (edited) Cool and very 40k-ish model! I like the leg mechanisms and the purity seals. And new torch pieces look good on the back. As for the minifigure, its torso looks a bit out of place, but it's funny to think that Sisters of Battle caught arch-heretic Bricksterus and made him suffer for the rest of his life. And from what set the gear blades are? This mold fits 40k well. Edited July 10, 2020 by Farseer Petriel Quote
Eggyslav Posted July 10, 2020 Posted July 10, 2020 Would love to see more Warhammer MOCs... Speaking of which, I've gotta show you guys my Adeptus Mechanicus Battlepack I made in LDD! Quote
Jerry McGlade Posted July 11, 2020 Posted July 11, 2020 Really awesome way you made the legs! Really cool build! Quote
SteamSewnEmpire Posted July 11, 2020 Posted July 11, 2020 It's a hard life, but somebody has to live it. Quote

Very curious as to what those are from, they look great! Quote
BardDandelion Posted July 11, 2020 Author Posted July 11, 2020 @Farseer Petriel I think torso is good enough. Pilot in GW figurine has striped trausers. This type of clothing is instantly recognizable as prisoner outfit and that was my goal to achieve. And really wanted to do something with that City torso I would never think I use otherwise. :P@Fenghuang0296 Blades are from Bionicle playsets (~2006), there were plenty of weapons like this - e.g. giant chainswords (used it in my Sisters Repentia minifigures). @Eggyslav Always waiting for more LEGO40k. Give us your AdMech! @Jerry McGlade Thank you sir. ;) @SteamSewnEmpire He probably deserved it. :P Quote
kieran Posted July 11, 2020 Posted July 11, 2020 I think the base really helps the model overall, great job Quote
