Mechbuilds Posted July 26, 2020 Posted July 26, 2020 That's pretty awesome! Can't wait for instructions! Hope it can be converted for buwizz. I really like your rear axle design. Quote

I really like your rear axle design. As it accepts a triple-A or lithium battery box, it basically is built for buwizz. The only question is whether the cables reach all the way to the back if you don't have an IR receiver in the middle, but that's just a question of adding an extension lead or three. How would it look with the Corvette mudguards? Appreciate they don't exist in white, but just for sizing. Quote
CF 28 Posted July 26, 2020 Posted July 26, 2020 Wow great build. I really like how well you replicated the tube chassis and roll cage of the real truck. Looks great Quote
Mechbuilds Posted July 27, 2020 Posted July 27, 2020 Can't wait for instructions! Watching this thread like a hawk.. Wanna build this so bad! Quote
KD123 Posted July 30, 2020 Posted July 30, 2020 Lovely design. Love the replication of the roll cage? Quote
Mechbuilds Posted July 31, 2020 Posted July 31, 2020 Any progress on the instructions? How close are you to completion? Quote

Sorry to keep you waiting... Didn't get much time on this in the past weeks. Am working on the instructions and it's at about 50% progress now. Also, did some outdoor driving testing and found that its torque is too weak for even small obstacles, will have to tune down the gear ratio ... Quote
falconluan Posted August 21, 2020 Author Posted August 21, 2020 The instruction is finally finished and you can find it at: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-50190/falconluan/tsco-racing-aussie-trophy-truck/#comments Quote
Jundis Posted August 21, 2020 Posted August 21, 2020 Nice job! But the front fenders dont seem to match the chassis...? Quote
Mechbuilds Posted August 21, 2020 Posted August 21, 2020 Gotta love that tube frame chassis. And the easily detachable body! Nice work! Quote

Oh, that's because there is no 13L length fender in the current version of Studio app, so I used the bigger 15L in the instruction. You can see the 13L fenders used in the real build photos and in the video. Quote
