A pretty cool set and a well beefed up car with a lot of gadgets indeed, no wonder that it´s so big.... very playable, although it´s a shame that the cool ejector seat doesn´t work better. The helicopter´s marvelous, sleek and elegant and the baddie´s attached to it in a really original and playable way, very smart!
May 30, 200816 yr Great review Deinonychus. The gate looks good, (esp with the sound brick). Spyclops looks cool, and the set looks well polished and put together! The action feature of the aircraft is the wench system. This is very different then other LEGO wenches in that you build the entire mechanism and housing. You can then use it to raise Spy Clops up and down from the bottom of the chopper using the rotor. Now, this also keeps you from sitting there and just giving the rotor repeated spins to simulate flight. I'm not too thrilled with that, but there are a hundred other LEGO helicopters out there with fully rotating rotors, so I guess I can let it by just this once. Wenches are just what lego needs more of, esp in the Castle line! Bring me more Wenches i say! Sweet Review on!
