I think more clues may be needed for this one, but I'll start with a guess:

Nope, sorry. But I might need to also add I changed the topic title from "guess the movie" to a more general "guessing game", so...

Ah, well, then I think this clue may have gone too far in the other direction from the first one you posted!

  • Author

Weeeeeeell, depends on how you define "too far" - I mean this one's still within the realm of mainstream media . . . oooops, damn, another hint revealed... I see what you're trying to do here. NO MORE TRICKS, Roger Sherlock?!

Edited by DoubleBU

Is it Pink Floyd’s Another Brick in the Wall?

:thumbup::thumbup:! Bravissimo! Clue 2 no longer needed then...

...and here I am half a day later to post another riddle. True, certainly not the most elaborate of builds but that's not really the point, is it.

Ok, so here it goes:

Clue 1

640x480.jpg

Again, not the most elaborate build but still close to Italian Renaissance art, don't you think!?

A very long shot: Chambord?

For this my answer is this:

  Reveal hidden contents

Leonardo da Vinci's Vitruvian Man

Getting closer, but not quite.

Time for the second clue? Let me know.

Another long shot:

  Hide contents

Castel Sant'Angelo - despite it has not four towers.

Does your suggestion suggest I'm suggestively suggesting actual art from the Renaissance era? Unfortunately I'm not. Ok, it does have "something" to do with Renaissance art, yes, but waaaaaaaaaay differently than you might think., so here's clue number 2:

Ready for the next one? Here's a classic with a bit of a.... twist!? Guess wisely!

Nobody?? Awwwww...

I can't believe no one has got this yet. The background is another clue right?

Wizard of Oz

  • Author

Not quite but close-ish...

The green background is just a very very very very minor clue - so I wouldn't refer to that particularly.

You might want to think more outside the ring... I mean, box...

Spoiler

Gandalf?

Great posts by the way.

Gandalf?

Great posts by the way.

Thanks!

And for your guess: , BUT there's more to it! As I mentioned in the description: There's a... twist - and without the shadow of a doubt once revealed you'll get the joke... hopefully.

I was trying to figure out the relevance of the bike. I don't really know LOTR. Researching his horse got me to "The White Rider" hopefully this is the twist you were after.

  • Author

Clever girl!... No wait, wrong movie ;)

Indeed that was the "twist"! I'm calling this "Gandalf riding Shadowfaximile"... obviously.

Well done! Stay tuned for the next riddle...
