Posted July 30, 20204 yr I started collecting pirates when I bought my son a chessboard 40158 and a boat 70413. And that collected dust for a couple of years because I worked more city. Then I came across these 2 beauties-6243 and 4195, 20 euros each, so I made a port for all 3. I have made this so far, now there is a market and a village for the natives.
July 30, 20204 yr Great work, this is a lovely display! The only thing I would change: add some more blue baseplates (and waves) in the front right. As it is it looks a bit unfinished to me.

July 31, 20204 yr Good diorama so far. As it is more a diorama/Moc build I took the liberty to move the topic in the Pirates MOC subforum. Always a pleasure to see a pirate town develop
August 4, 20204 yr Governor Terrible photography but a great layout nonetheless! I've shared it in the Classic Pirates Facebook Group.

I have too many ideas and too little LEGO and space for everyone;) On 8/3/2020 at 1:33 AM, Techam said: Very cool, I especially like the fort and the roofs of the buildings. 1 I made only a fort but it was too empty for me, so I added 1 2 3 4 buildings;) And since I don't have enough roofing material then I manage with what I have, and I don't like to repeat construction techniques;) On 8/3/2020 at 6:55 AM, GewoonWouter said: I agree, this one has lots of atmosphere, well done. I like to create an atmosphere in every MOC, especially because I like to put together scenes with figs. that's why there are about 2000 of them;) in the City part of the city I'm at 1500;) On 8/4/2020 at 7:50 PM, Mister Phes said: Terrible photography but a great layout nonetheless! And if you dedicate yourself to photography, it raises the feeling of MOC a lot and shows it in the right light. On 8/8/2020 at 7:54 AM, Captain Braunsfeld said: Fantastic pirate layout! And I should get myself such a photo background! TX, I noticed in the posts of some other members that the background gives MOC a special charm. So from now on I put it wherever I can;)

January 18, 20232 yr Author So this is my new fort, and soon i will get pictures of market, docks and warehouse. My big problem is that I limited my space for pirates to only 8x2 32 panels. That's why I can't expand with creations like the city and the castle. There's still a lot of work to do. When I put the fortress in its place on the shelf, you can see that it is too small compared to the ships and houses in the city. And for that you need to collect a lot of white bricks The plan is to finally finish this year my MOC of the ship for which I have been collecting parts for 3 years. As much as I have expanded with the buildings in the port, I do not believe that there will be more space for ships.

You might need to downsize your City and Castle layouts then! 8 hours ago, Romanos said: You've done well to create a vibrant, bustling fort. Were you inspired by any of the forts or coastal in Croatia?

January 20, 20232 yr Despite the small space available, it is a fantastic layout. The new fort looks great! I really like the building in the back with the red roof and flowers on the sides Did you remove the wharf and houses in order to make room for the fort?

Thank you ;) Yes, I removed 1 building to expand the fortress, and I added a market. there is still room for 1 16x32, I was thinking of making something like a prison tower. Next to it I also have a lighthouse on 1 16x32.
January 21, 20232 yr Author This is new market place , Still more work to do, on sea, and myb expand dock.
January 24, 20232 yr Author My new warehouse next to the market. A corrupt dealer buys weapons that were stolen from the army. His employees check the weapons and prepare to hide the boxes . A chest of gold coins is ready. Upstairs is a lady with her nanny. The side entrance to the warehouse is prohibited for the unemployed. He hides sensitive things there.
January 25, 20232 yr Author This is the last version of my pirates, there is still work to be done about the water and the pier. The plan is to build the walls when I collect the blocks and match all the buildings so that they look like they are from the same period and of similar construction. I'm going for the Spanish style. Tiled roofs and the color of the buildings. Edited January 25, 20232 yr by Romanos

I have a city sea with 25 baseplates and a castle river with 5 32x32. So that it will be a big purchase ;) that's why we go a little bit, 1-pirates and then the rest.
