SteamSewnEmpire Posted August 11, 2020 Posted August 11, 2020 This was an Austro-Hungarian Empire design that served all over Europe. I didn't have a lot of photos to go off of, and none were of good quality. I also elected to go with a normal stack, and not the weird wide one that the KKSTB experimented with for a while. Quote
deraven Posted August 11, 2020 Posted August 11, 2020 This is a great build. The ratchet wrench on the front is NPU and works well there. I think not using the wide stack makes the steam dome look a bit too large, but it wouldn't have hit me that way if I hadn't looked at the inspiration in some detail first. The curves on the cab are also really nicely captured! Quote

I went back and forth on the stack, but apparently most of them didn't have it: A number of these wound up in Poland and Italy, and I think they did their own mods, too. Sérgio Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 You build amazing Steam stuff, you could try to render some of your works export the lxf. files to Stud.io :) You can also put some parts that don't even exist in LDD or deactive the colision tool to make more detail, like the rods. Quote
zephyr1934 Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 That wide ring on the wheel for the steam dome is too eye catching. You might want to try something else for the dome, e.g., as per... Quote
Amicus1 Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 That use of the crater baseplate as steam is genius! Quote
Craig Strader Posted August 15, 2020 Posted August 15, 2020 Looks great. All that it needs now are just some freight cars. Or maybe even a passenger excursion set. Quote
