You’re totally right, I saw that ninja_whip confirmed a January release date for the legacy sets. I think an April release date for the gardens doesn’t make too much sense to me because of the golden Wu. So are people going to collect some of the golden Ninjas and then wait 4 months for the gardens to come out so that they can add Wu? Doesn’t make much sense tbh.

That’s not much of an argument since gold Zane and gold Nya are going to be attached to the summer Legacy sets.

Yep! Plus, it's not like LEGO has never done that sort of thing before. Back in 2011, the Ice Dragon, the Samukai and Nuckal minifigures, and the first three Golden Weapons of Spinjitzu came out at the beginning of the year, but the other three dragons, the other two elite Skulkin minifigures, and the Dragon Sword of Fire weren't available until August. Likewise in 2012, the Skales and Fangtom minifigures came out at the beginning of the year, but the other three Serpentine leaders didn't come out until June.

what? is this a set name for the summer?

this number dosent correspond to the jungle dragon set number, so its a completey different set.

Should be for S15  It's looking like a Nya centered season (can't share more than this though)

Can't say any more than this but:

71754 - Water Dragon - $69.99

I knew it. Well, hopefully it’s true and is a deserving steed.

A water Ninjago wave sounds absolutely amazing, hoping it’s like aqua raiders with Ninjago vehicles and dragons... (I’ve never seen the show tho so idk)

In terms of the garden release date, we’ve had claims of delays into February and April.  Promobricks has gotten the dates of every single recently revealed set correct despite their oddly stagnated release dates, so I’m going to assume they’re correct on this one too. ?

Lego is definitely trolling all the Nya fans with that water based Kai vehicle

Eh, while I definitely agree that I wish Nya would get more vehicles, I also am a little glad that she hasn't ended up the "Aquaman" of the group with her getting a watercraft no matter how contrived the scenario has to be to make it fit in with the setting. I'd much rather she get a wider range of vehicles including land vehicles, aircraft, watercraft, and mechs like everyone else.

interesting thread. to no one's shock, the most visibly avid gurren lagann fan on the lego design team was the one responsible for getting a skull face into the mech (not that i'm complaining; i love gurren lagann and this is frankly an improvement over the last titan mech)

interesting design stuff too; the process of realizing a set was cool to learn about, but the way he pulled off the knees was :chefs_kiss:. guess i don't have to worry about the mixel joints failing me. now if the x1 charger was anywhere near as good...

Water Dragon!? Sounds very interesting to me, but I'm honestly not sure if water is the best fit with dragons...

A fire dragon might work better (even though there's some already made).

Well it is for Nya so a fire dragon wouldn't make sense.  Plus the Elves line had a water dragon.  Sounds interesting and will be interested to hear what the S15 is centered around.  At that price should be a decent size dragon too.

I agree that a fire dragon wouldn't make sense here, but I honestly have no idea how this will sell. Yes, Elves had a water dragon, but I'm expecting this to be something completely different.

Yes of course it should be different.  I was just pointing out they have done a water dragon before.  Some of the Elves dragons are very nicely done.  From the price it seems to be of decent size.  The skull dragon from this last wave of sets is really great I love the look and design of it although it's not very movable, still looks great battling my knights.  I just hope this water dragon is nice design and looks good.  I need more dragons.

Saw some of the pics. Odd they didn't make a Headband hairpiece for Zane.

Nya I understand as she has the ponytail. And Cole is reusing the one from the Lego Ninjago Movie.

So only Kai Lloyd and Jay have new hair pieces.

I guess it helps reduce the number of new molds. And that means 3 new other molds.

Also Jay's Electro Mech. I've heard of simplifying for a 4+ set. But those legs.

to be honest it makes sense: zane's hair naturally pops up because it's basically already stuck up since it's basically metal, and anyways would a headband really add to his look?

very weird that only lloyd (and potentially nya) have alt faces, which leads me to believe they're separating a la hunted yet again

also interesting to see we've already got a water dragon rumour; it would fit better when the ninja used their elemental dragons more often but if this is anything like boreal in the ice chapter or cole's spinjitzu burst it could be interesting

I feel like this guy (or girl) might have more inside info. if so, they must be crapping themselves listening to all of us having these discussions about the new sets and stuff.:head_back:

NC Gardens wont be released on January 2021? So April then?
