In late 80s or early 90s I forget, I got a fire station of Lego system, it was much better than any fire station released in recent years. I am thinking if I should get one or two sets of 60215 because shortly afterwards there will be super deals here, exclusively for this set

60004 looked like an actual fire department, which is why I liked it. It was realistic all while playing the part as a fun toy for children. 7240 was another realistic looking fire department, but if I knew what to do then like I do now, I would've added another garage - making it big enough for the fire truck at the time. 7945 was a step down as far as design language for me as it looked more like a house with fire station symbols than a fire department due to the windows and the shape. 7208 was a bit of an improvement. Then there was 60110, which was a huge downgrade from 60004. 60215, like you said, is kinda boring. But looking at the design, they tried.

Yes, 60110 is a huge downgrade and I am disappointed that they are going to re-release this set. However, 60215 is fine

With old box art on top of that (something that made me think it was either fake or a cancelled set that was an unauthorized leak). It really frustrates me on how people are refusing to acknowledge that the current box art isn't being used on this set.

Really interested in the newly released City 60302 and 60307, but cost per piece is really too high now, single price isn't so high though. Would anyone tell me if the elephant in 60302 is the same as that of 60307? or if they are different?

The elephant mould is the same in 60302 and 307, the difference are tusks only - 60302's are short while in  60307 are long.

disappointing. If they were different, I would get both sets, but now, probably only one set, hard to decide to get 302 or 307.... having considered for a few weeks unable to make decision on which set to get

Or you can order elephant head, body, trunk and long (or short) tusks off Bricks and Prices. Your best bet is to call Customer Service.  

Fun fact: There is no gender difference within elephant tusks. In fact, tusks grow constantly as elephants become older. 

I don’t need two elephants myself but i only needed one adult elephant and their adorable baby elephant.

Well I'll get 60307 then today. Because I already have a lot of helicopters already, looks like the highlight of 60302 is only the big helicopter and the crocodile. I don't like the helicopter but I like the crocodile :(

If the truck of 60302 isn't this bad (in my opinion), I will get this set instead.

That’s understandable. As a shopper, it’s all up to you. But I think 60307 is a great one - it has white lion and cub!

I odn’t plan to buy these Wildlife Rescue sets except for Wildlife Rescue ATV set. I already ordered elephants (adult and calf), lions (tan male lion and cub), crocodiles (adult and egg), monkey and a few more useful items off BnP. Now I’m able to build i my own Animal Kingdom. :)

To your question, @Poodabricks:

Stuntz will fail.

Not because I dislike the theme. But because of three reasons:

1. The four big sets look all nearly the same and include too much of the same stuff. That makes it not interesting enough to buy all of them. It would have been wiser to release only three sets: a) a small (30 Euros) "basic" set (for these who can't or don't want to spend that much money) with a motorcycle and a monstertruck and some stunts stuff, b) the stunts show truck with two motorcycles (and for 40 til max. 50 Euros!) and c) a stunts show arena with only monster trucks, the two damaged cars, stunts stuff plus a big grandstand (minimum as big as 3403) plus an elaborated snack stand and a TV camera - so this flagship set could be interesting not only for JFOLS, but also for TFOLs and AFOLS.

2. Plus the four big sets are highly overpriced for what you get!

2. Yes, it's a nice idea to collect motorcycles. And they are well designed. But for the most kids (and their parents) it's really too hard to have to pay six times eight Euros to get all collectible motorcycles. So one or two bikes might be bought by many, but not all bikes.

I think the gimmick with the motors (which pushes up the price of the bikes) will backfire and will result in lower sales than would have been the case if the bikes were normal bikes and where cheaper as a result.

Yeah I like 60307 and I don't think this set is overpriced, it has a huge variety of new animals and great recolor, if I'm getting any of these wildlife sets I probably pick 60307, and then I combine it to 60302 to make a river

Just visited nearby Lego store they had everything but only the one I want was not in stock - 60307. What a fate. I am going to shops farther away tomorrow

That’s a GREAT idea to make a river if you get both sets! 

You are correct - it does have a huge variety of animals. AND there is an exclusive African eagle in that 60307 not in other Wildlife Rescue sets. 

I am hoping next year’s summer subtheme(s) will have new animal molds. 

Folks, there is Christmas set that is going to be a reindeer sleigh with F O U R reindeers. I think it would be great for winter-themed City. :)
