So what do you think after the first official City pictures: should I get the current 60125 fire station (with light and sound) or the new one, which has a few more pieces? I missed the last one 60110 and I fear that the next big headquarters will be even more junorized.

Wow! so many great City sets in the coming new year, my wallet cannot take a rest!!!!!

Just had a quick rough look, sets I will certainly get without doubt.

Shockingly too many City sets this year

I'd get the current one as it will be retired soon. Then later get the new one and stick them together.

Thank you both. Perhaps putting together 2 sets is indeed the best solution.

If you can only get one because of money, go with 60215. Mainly because it has windows on the side of the garage and the new one doesn't.

I'm very happy that the new year's city sets have largely improved, compared to that of the past two years, e.g. school day, cement mixer and horse truck (which I have been long for). I believe that they have researcher here listening to my wishes!
