The plane was launched last year, so I'm satisfied.
Products such as the 7243 and 7900 are also very good, but I wonder if something similar will be released.

I want trucks similar to 7900 and 7998 to be released, larger trucks instead of that small trucks that we're having this years.

And a construction site is something I want too, I think I would buy it!

7998 is also a great product.
Compared to the 7900, it is very short, but I like the color of the truck.
I once filmed with a famous Lego YouTuber in Korea.

I hope that one day a great product like the 7249 will be released.
In addition, 7893 or 7905.

7249 https://blog.naver.com/wonwoo0918/222217618080

7893 https://blog.naver.com/wonwoo0918/221777895194

7905 https://blog.naver.com/wonwoo0918/221632558247

7905 is a great set!!!!!! But I wasn't back to Lego in 2006, and it is still unlikely though

7893 is unlikely because we have the new plane in the summer 2020

btw do you come from Korea?

Sad I only knew LEGO in late 2013... And I bought some useless sets when I could have bought great sets... :(

Hope to see some great sets on the near future like the ones from that time!

My passion for Lego started in 2010,but like @Xico26 I bought small and cheap sets instead of big and cool ones.

My passion for Lego first started in early 90s and ended after a few years.

And my passion for Lego came back again in 2018 and I am still passionate for it

It almost happened to me, in 2017 my passion for Lego was ending until December 2018 when I started buying new and big sets, and in 2020 my passion got bigger when I started my city

Amazon shopping ruined me. I had forget about Lego for almost 20 years totally until I was addicted to shopping on Amazon and Lego appeared to me at deals

Just like me: In 2019-2020 it was almost totally dead... Last Christmas I received a Space Set and now... I think you can see the results :laugh_hard:

I already had a train which I bought in 2017 (set 60051 with different box art) but my passion for it was a bit dead in 2018. But as I said before it became stronger now!

My passion for Lego City is mostly vehicles. I have skipped a lot of City buildings and venues that include the big clinic released in 2018. I have got nearly all the new City vehicles just released this year but I have no plan of getting things like Family House and Town Center

I have more vehicles than buildings, I have sets from all of the great vehicles subthemes since 2012 to 2020,now I'm focusing on buildings, my plans are to place this sets in my city:60097,60200,60271,60292 60306, 60290,60291,60278,7894,3182,60261,60262,7240 60216 and 60215

I noticed 60026 is missing from that list, even Bricklinking the building parts, which aren't too uncommon, would be great way to bring in a corner building, which is very detailed (the bike shop's floor is even tiled).

Yes, I am Korean.
I think I have a lot of city products among Koreans.
And I know that the plane won't be released for a while.

I'm your neighbor

Unluckily Lego City was getting worse and worse throughout the last decade.

Luckily, this year has improved a lot

7905 is now sold for around $300 here which is ridiculous. If similar set is released today I will buy it without any hesitation

I want the set, but not now, first I want to put the sets that I said and then place different things(roads, small buildings...)

If buying used, why not parting out on Bricklink

First I have to see if I could find it used for a good price

Used usually misses some parts which is not notified beforehand

I'm more than happy to be your neighbor.
Since the creation of the City Series in 2005, it is true that the quality has been getting lower over time.
I think I bought the 7905 product at that price.
If you access this link, you will be able to see a lot of pictures of City products I have collected.
Photos of my City products will continue to be uploaded for the time being.

I got 7905 for half off when it was retiring. I kept it built for a long time because it's just a great set.

I think City sets are all over the place, some are great some aren't. That's how it's always been. I just built 60265, the Sea Explorers base. It's an okay set, but it doesn't feel finished as 60096 was. But I plan on combining them to make a big setup.

Sports car, beach rescue, Police Boat, tractor, the house and other actual buildings are all great. City at times just feels lazy and now a lot are 5+ or 6+ sets so they are simple.

I can't wait for the summer sets to leak. They sound fun.

My expectation is that it would be somewhat similar to the LEGO Friends Jungle Rescue sets from last year, sort of like how the LEGO City Ocean Explorers subtheme came out a year after LEGO Friends had its own Sea Life Rescue subtheme. That way, it could present a good opportunity to both continue the National Geographic partnership that LEGO City and LEGO Friends had last year, and to reuse some of the foliage-building pieces that those Friends sets used like the "finger leaf" and 3x3x5 round panel with arches.

Of course, it's also possible that with a name as broad as "wildlife rescue" it could also encompass multiple biomes, rather than being strictly jungle-based. But I wouldn't expect ocean animals to be a major part of it since they were such a big part of the Ocean Explorers subtheme, and LEGO would probably want this new subtheme to stand out from that one as much as possible. And if the biomes vary too sharply (like, say, some sets being arctic-inspired and others being rainforest-inspired), it could reduce the incentive for buyers to collect multiples and use them together in the same display or play scenarios.

Chances are that some of the animal molds in this subtheme would be totally new for novelty's sake, but there are also plenty of exotic animal molds that could be reused as-is or with new colors/decorations. For example, the chameleon from the Collectible MInifigures and Bookshop modular building has yet to appear in any City sets, so it would be a fantastic candidate for a Wildlife Rescue subtheme. And there are plenty of big cat species or color variants that could be reused using the existing big cat molds, like a white tiger or snow mold — and potentially even more by introducing a new body part mold that can be combined with the existing ones, like a maned head piece to represent an adult male lion. Likewise, with new head and body molds, the mammoth trunk could be a great start to a new LEGO elephant. Lots of possibilities to consider!

You get a good point. I didn’t notice “pattern” in the first place. For example, Friends had Sea Life Rescue and Jungle Rescue subthemes a few years ago. That could make sense a lot.

I am very thrilled to see some new animal figures like Friends had mother and baby elephant figures. I think a male lion deserves a new head (with some mane) to be a leader of his pride.

I would love to see some lion cubs and other baby animas.
