Lego did do a subway car in a Spider Man ages ago. They wouldn't really fit into city square sets as those take place on the streets. A rapid transit train is better as a PF set. In my area, we call them either "Metro Trains" or "Rapid Transit" trains as most of the time, the metro in my city stays above ground. So calling them subways would be kinda dumb. Don't you think? gedren_y Posted January 27, 2021 Posted January 27, 2021 I think the most Lego would do in the way of a subway for City would be a street level entrance. I've never been on an underground train myself, and my hometown has a historical museum inside the old train depot. (Could Lego do that?) Quote
El Garfio Posted January 27, 2021 Posted January 27, 2021 Subway is complicated far away of an scene of a movie Due to it's underground You have to build a tunnel for all the railway How many pieces you need for it? It's complicated even recreate a subway station due to the all the levels you have to reproduce (the street entry, the station with the ticket validation machines, the gateways, the railways, a tunnel) Quote

But there is some “above-subway” in Chicago? Just like one in Spider-Man 2 (2004) or Divergent movie. Let’s not forget about underground vault for Gringotts Bank from Harry Potter world. If Gringotts Bank comes into Lego production, there is no way to have underground vault because we already have Diagon Alley. Quote

ks6349 Posted January 28, 2021 Posted January 28, 2021 (edited) Hi all I am highly interested in this set 60277 (see image below) but it contains only 276 pieces while being sold for approx. $50 usd here, what is the lowest possible price could it hit by your experience for a City set that contains 276 pieces?? I'll take this as a reference for the right time to buy it. Edited January 28, 2021 by ks6349 Quote
jonwil Posted January 28, 2021 Posted January 28, 2021 That particular set is expensive mostly because of the large boat hull. Quote
ks6349 Posted January 28, 2021 Posted January 28, 2021 Lego City Modern Family House is not well designed. The deep sea explorers hull sold for $30-$32 on Bricks and Pieces. I'd say $45 is a fair price for the set. It is a City set, so $48 isn't even terribly overpriced compared to the theme. Quote

I don't need to get a set I like immediately and I almost always get it when I think the price is right 2. Price fluctuation here is quite high, sometimes when I believe that it is near the minimum possible price it can still go down even a lot more $45 should be the right price to get 60277? 14 minutes ago, Brandon Pea said: Yes Hi Michael Jordan Quote

Lion King Posted January 29, 2021 Posted January 29, 2021 I just got Ocean Mini-Submarine. I have to say - i love it! I know it’s very simple but i was so happy to have hammerhead shark! I know it’s so 2020-ish but hey, it has hammerhead shark! I may go get Holiday Camper Van. I'm 100% happy with yellow figs. I prefer them actually. The fact that Lego is race free with their original themes (or tries to be in the case of Friends) is what makes them awesome. The only reason flesh tones exist is because of the licensed themes. 1 hour ago, gedren_y said: Let's celebrate the inclusivity of Eurobricks.
