I just got Ocean Mini-Submarine. I have to say - i love it! I know it’s very simple but i was so happy to have hammerhead shark! I know it’s so 2020-ish but hey, it has hammerhead shark!.

I just got the underwater base and one of the best things about it is the Hammerhead! Very smart of LEGO to reuse the shark mold.

With some help of luck (thank you to whom may it concern) I was able to get 60305 Car transporter for my son. And I am positively surprised. It looks and feels really nice. It can carry most of City cars and with some others like Dodge Charger from Speed Champions, it just requires to switch/fit top pieces. Ofc, there are some flaws like empty space under the back of roof but generaly it is a nice set and we like it a lot.

Yup! And not just people of colors but people with disabilities too! I am deaf-blind guy here!

Please note: I’m not 100% blind yet so I cn see what people typed here.

I am a bit blind, I lost part of my vision when I was a kid, one of my eyes can see better than the other eye.

I still have my 2016 service station (60132). It's much better.

Yep, but it's impossible to buy it now... :(

Not for me, a shop nearby still has that set for a good price, the oldest city set they have is from 2008

Lucky you! Are you from Algarve? Because I saw an online shop with that from Algarve (TonyToys I think)

I like the color of the car transport.
But it's a little sad that the pillar is made of technic beams.

I'm 100% happy with yellow figs. I prefer them actually. The fact that  Lego is race free with their original themes (or tries to be in the case of Friends) is what makes them awesome. The only reason flesh tones exist is because of the licensed themes.

They've also got lots of people with ASD here too, myself included. So I don't feel left out.

Autistic Spectrum Disorder? Because I certainly have that!

I have many Lego City products, but I don't have 60257 yet.
Someday I'll have to buy one day.

You'd better hurry. It's officially retiring now. I don't understand why.

Does anyone know if the new road plate could seamlessly fit with the old road plate? I want to get some old curve road plates....

Jang has a video showing off how to connect and make the old work with the new. It's not 100% as the old ones are wider but it will work.

And let's be honest, I think autism and ADD rates are higher in the AFOL community than the general population. I know several people who use the bigger sets, mostly modulars, to help with depression and other mental illnesses.

Prolly because of low sales and too many critiques - some of which I kinda understand. The build style of the building is a good space to start. I work at a petrol station and none of the ones I've seen are THAT small.

Really? Glad I bought now!

EDIT: What about 60258? Is it also retiring?

I don't judge people who are different, everyone who writes replies in my forum is always welcome, it doesn't matter if he is from another race, religion....

I don't think I would buy 60257, I really like that one from 2007,but the best option for me is 60132 it can be easier to connect the roadplates with that set

Lego is great for many people with psychological disorders, too.

Exactly. It's mostly a very calming thing. There is a reason why during the pandemic that LEGO is even more popular.
