So the other day I was in Target and found 4 copies of a "Legoland" set that was about $15 I think, and it had a few little game stands or snack stands or something. It was register locked saying it was for sale on 4/11. I've been poking about and haven't seen these listed anywhere, but perhaps i'm not looking in the right place. Are they being discussed here on EB anywhere? It looked like a new theme, I think the box was mostly yellow and the rest was either red or blue (I don't recall). It looked similar in style to that Legoland water park that is well known.

Just so everyone knows i'm not crazy, Target is now stocking several Legoland sets. I bought 3 (leaving out Ninjago land) for delivery in a few days

The hull is counted as one piece on this site, even though it has two components.

ok, what is the lowest possible price do you think it would reach ? (Lego 60277  Police Patrol Boat). BTW are you from Australia? I think

Amazon Australia has the best price for Lego City ever

The price isn't very appealing to me. Or have I missed the deal now?

Of course. The prices at the Lego store were just right.

The prices at the Lego store are the worst ever

In the USA, these LegoLand sets are only available at the parks so Target stocking them (one of the two large big box chains) is a huge deal. And the (retail price) prices are actually pretty good, based on part counts. Less than 10c per part, which is rare nowadays.

Yes I am from Australia. Here Kmarts have very affordable prices which are very consistent and stable, and that is where I purchase Lego city sets, but currently Amazon has the best price for that specific set, and I don't see it getting any lower.

You still have Kmart down under? Man, over here in the land of the free, Kmart is almost non existant.

Kmart is incredibly successful here. It was a joint venture between S.S.Kresge (who owned Kmart in the US) and the Australian Coles supermarkets, who later bought out S.S. Kresge, hence it if fully independent of the US Kmarts. They actually opened their own stores in the US under the Anko brand name, but closed them recently as they were only a pilot. Dozens of Australian Target stores (owned by the same parent company, Wesfarmers) are being converted to Kmarts as it is much more popular. Kmart was struggling in the mid 2000s, but in the last decade has transformed.

Very interesting! TARGET is an outstanding success story here in the states. Man I learn something new and more amazing every day!

Both elephant and monkey look fine, but the fact they have no movable limbs makes me really sad. I CAN understand Monkey (even if it could use Golum hands just fine), but Elephant not having movable legs is just a joke at this point.

Have you seen the finished elephant already (beside the one in prelim)? I suspect it has no movable legs since the mammoth did not have it, but have not seen a good picture of it yet..

Prices of Lego on Kmarts are fine but not as competitive as Amazon Australia

I rarely buy City sets at LEGO.com unless they are somehow end up exclusive to it (varies per country) like the 2020 mail plane was for a while.

I only buy the town planning sets at Lego stores because they are easier to find there. At the department stores in my area, I can barely find them. Otherwise, I'd target the Target stores. Pun intended there. LOL

I literally never buy off of LEGO.com or pay full price for sets. I just get them used for half the price on places like Bricklink, Brickowl, etc, so they are actually worth it. Even then, some sets are SUPER expensive and not worth the prices, especially now.

@Lordofdragonss, to echo Roebuck - there may not actually be a finsihed picture of elephant mold yet. I am assuming you have seen prelimary (unfinished) images of that elephants. if remember correctly, baby elephant was unnaturally blue? Anyways, I don’t know there is any new leaked picture of elepahnts at moment. Only lion cub, that monkey, crocodile and crocodile egg.  I haven’t seen pics of lion cub, crocodile and its egg myself yet tho.
