Raccoon also said Bulldog told Hippo to track him (raccoon).

That obviously does not maaaaaaatch with what Emeric claimed Hyacinth was doing. Was Hyacinth also in direct coooooooontact with Rutherford? If Bartosz wanted to test Hyacinth, as he suggested yesterday, by having her traaaaaaaack Rutherford, either Emeric's claim is false or Hyacinth chaaaaaaanged her mind.

That it was all a little too convenient?  Why would she have tracked Holbrook?  He certainly wasn't her only suspicion yesterday.  There were others looking a lot more suspicious than he was.

That's whaaaaaaat I was thinking, everyone seems happy to gloss over it because the claims were not contradiiiiiiiictory in any way, so I am trying to seeeeeeeee which role Rutherford (and Bartosz apparently) plaaaaaaaaaayed in all of this.

With Bartosz, Rutherford and Hyacinth dead, maybe Emeric and Holbrook can sheeeeeeeed some light on this.

They might want to give it to themselves if they were concerned that they had received a bomb.

I caaaaaaan't imagine a bomb-proof bomb defuser being able to target themseeeeeeeelves, but Corrina and Marlowe should be able to saaaaaaaay something about that.

I feel she has thrown a lot of things out there that are designed to create confusion, and then just latching on to whatever Benicia says to support her own position.

That certainly isn't my inteeeeeeeention. Some of those night action taaaaaaaargets were not so straightforward to me and I'm trying to geeeeeet to the bottom of things. The baby dragon haters seem haaaaaaaappy to let the day slip by if we're not going to keeeeeep poking around.

Fuck I'm so sorry I didn't mention it earlier.

Could the Godfather still be knocking around or was it probably a one shot for night two meaning Emeric is more likely to be a trickster if he's lying?

He didn't say who he learned from about being tracked.

It would have had to been bulldog who changed his mind about who hippo should track, but why change the target? And we now know hippo was town so he wouldn't be doing himself or town any favors by fucking around like that.

How would they have figured out if hippo did what they told him to?

*decent meme saying he saw thru hippo's eyes that horse targeted elephant*

I do wonder though how elephant could behold anything from a dead guy. Shouldn't elephant not see anything because hippo didn't see anything because hippo's action didn't go thru because hippo was dead?

Ouch my head.

Either way I'm leaning Trickster for Emeric.

The idea was that Hyacinth should be aaaaaaable to confirm Rutherford's target. That's what Bartosz suggested yesterdaaaaaay::

On 8/21/2020 at 11:46 PM, Bartosz Bulldog said:

Honestly I might propose we TEST Hyacinth and have her track someone like the Raccoon who we assume is Town and trustworthy. The Hippo will report what she tracked beforehand and the Raccoon or whomever can verify that she's at least telling the truth about having and using her action.

They may have changed targets because Rutherford was the vengeful watcher and that roooooooole couldn't target anyone at night. It's conceivable they'd rather let Hyacinth track Holbrooke whom they asked to watch Emeric to be able to verify their claimed roooooles.

Kills are resolved laaaaaaaast, so Hyacinth should have been able to traaaaaaaaack someone (if she wasn't blocked) before dying. Likewise, Emeric would have seen her result before she diiiiiiieeeeeeeeed.

sorry, sleepy time took too long.

Same.

Meaning maybe he's scum and he didn't want to defuse his own bomb?

What I'm thinking at least, especially since I thought at the time that Leatrix's day 1 vote was rather sheepy. I still think Marlowe is in the thick of it.

I think Hyacinth, unlike Rutherford for example, was someone not likely to be waaaaaaaatched.

Why do you think that?

A player has been investigated as "not scum" indicating they could be grown or the trickster. But no one has questioned Emeric over this. Nor has he bothered to come out an explain why this might be the case. Something rubs me up the wrong way about this. We literally have an investigation result points towards a player being the trickster and no one has said anything. Emeric, would you like to explain this? Is there any reason why Gilford has been given a "not scum" reading on you?

It's been said before but this is a pretty standard result for a situation with a third party.

I wrote to Rutherford in the night to say I was the watcher and did he want to make a plan.

I tend to think Emeric's claim of beholder is genuine, whether or not he is the trickster.

votey time before I return to my barrel. Vote: Marlowe Monkey

The rules say players can't target themselves unless said otherwise in PM. And the PM I was sent didn't mention anything about that.

I'm not just going to sit around and let the town fall into a trap. Shainen hasn't voted for me and I don't know whether that's becuase he genuinely thinks I'm town or becuase he knows I'm going to flip town tomorrow and is trying to distance himself from the bandwagon.

Since it looks like I'm going to be lynched. I want to help the town in the long run. I have the Framer/Tailor role for tonight. I want to put it out there in case the scum/trickster try to claim it tomorrow. Or similarly if the scum try to claim they were targeted by it if they're investigated.

WIFOM. Are you claiming this because you genuinely want to help us, or because one of your Scum mates has the role and you want us to believe otherwise? Argh. Only the Trickster would know. But then the Trickster would also know that the real Framer-Tailor must be Scum...

I hope we do the right thing.

Vote : Marlowe Monkey.

No, you aren't doing the right thing and you'll be kicking yourself on the morning.

Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please believe me. I have been given the framer/tailor action. And you'll see this in the morning. Like Insaid I'm giving you the information now so the scum can't fake claim or pretend they were targeted by it in the morning.

After veeeeeeeery nearly being voted off yesterday, I didn't see Hyacinth as a likely taaaaaaaaarget for a scum kill. Wouldn't a watcher want to select a liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiikely target for a scum kill? Did you expeeeeeect to catch a baby dragon hater by watching Eeeeeeemeric?
