Yes, I agree with that. Maybe there will be some set from F1 and maybe something from Hypercar from Le Mans.

The Elva will be made in minifigure scale and will come in a large set. LEGO won’t make a polybag promoting a £17.99 set.

I’m sure we’ll get the normal amount of sets too.

Saw some rumoured sets (on Instagram, admittedly, so correct these if they've been debunked) which made me come and find this thread. Bits in brackets are my guesses to specifics:

Koenigsegg - 280pcs (possibly a Jesko)

Toyota - 299pcs (TS050, possibly the new hypercar? Although I doubt it given that's only being unveiled this week)

McLaren - 263pcs (Elva as per the polybag)

Chevrolet - 512pcs (presumably a two-pack, though what models I'm not sure. Would be cool to see an old Bel-Air or something)

Dodge - 627pcs (again presumably a two-pack. Maybe a tie-in with Fast & Furious? We did get the technic model after all)

According to Promobricks there is still one more unlicensed set, and it will be the same price as the Dodge set.

Damn am I the only one wishing the Toyota set would be a road car based set? I would prefer it to be the Gr Supra or the Gr Yaris.

I was going to say I'd be OK with the TS050 to go with the Porsche 919, or the GR Yaris with the M-Sport Ford, but I forgot these will probably be 8 wide... In which case I agree, the GR Supra would be nice.

Great news! The downside is the fact that they'll be 8 wide. Well, I'm gonna modify them to 6 wide. I'm thrilled by the fact that this theme isn't dead yet.

Ditto, need my fix of LEGO cars somewhere! Even if they are wider than I would like.

I found the above info on a few accounts under the hashtag legoleaks on Instagram. It is second- or maybe even third-hand information as none of them say where their info came from (understandably), but they came at the same time as a few more leaks and rumours for other themes that have been confirmed by reliable sources, so I won't dismiss them outright.

The rest sounds pretty meh though, but that is mostly due to me losing interest. I gave away all my american muscle SCs to my brother in law who is very much into american stuff, and save for the three singles from last year, all of my SCs are in storage.

I'm very pleased there will be more sets. I picked up one or two each year of the 6 wide ones when I really liked them, but most of them looked too narrow to me.

I really liked the move to 8 wide, as it allows the cars to be much more realistic and model-like. So much so that I bought the entire 2020 range.

And I think Ts050 matching. You can also say the same about the Audi WRC, which does not fit the Fiesta either, and looks great.

True, and i dont think the TS050 would look bad, i just think lining the three up together would look a bit awkward

It's exciting even if they are just rumours at the moment.

Inclusion of Koenigsegg is a surprise, in a good way!

My guess for the Toyota would be a WRC Yaris, considering they've always included rally cars in recent SC releases.

I really hope they do the new Toyota hypercar, that would be a definite must have for me!  The Koenigsegg wiould be pretty cool too. 

Personally though, i'd love to see them do more classic rally cars. 

Would love a rally Datsun 240z to go with this street version i created.

I also think a rally Z, would fit in well with my Ford Escort MK1 and Lancia Fulvia, (similar era).

I could really do with a Renault 5 Maxi turbo as well, to go with the Renault F1 Espace, i created earlier this year.

I'm intrigued by the Dodge two pack.  I'm fairly certain the Challenger/Charger two pack is on shelves right now, and you can get the Ghost Rider "Challenger" on shelves (don't think it's licensed but the car is technically a Challenger), and I don't really know what other iconic Dodge cars there are.  A modern Charger's model would look very similar to the model of the Hellcat Challenger, a problem that also exists with many of the popular Dodge models from the 60s/70s (Super Bee/Coronet or Dart) and there aren't really that many other iconic Dodge cars besides the Daytona or trucks, or cars that would fall under the Plymouth brand.  A two pack of a Barracuda and Challenger from the 70s would be pretty cool, as would a two pack of a Daytona and a Superbird.

Hmm, my guess is one of the Chevrolet and Dodge twin packs would include a SUV/truck, probably.

Maybe the Dodge as its parts count is rumoured to be higher than the Chevrolet's.

Definitely hoping to see some pictures soon too.

These piece counts let me think the Chevrolet set is a w8 car only + a large build, hardly a couple of w8+w6 cars. 

I was ordering some pieces @ b&p , and noticed they re-released 18974 mudguard part un dbg, surely not only to place a couple in the  city police truck... this makes me think about freshly new koeniggsegg gemera .

Dodge surely and maybe the still unknown set will be the double cars sets for this year.. let's hope for some more infos coming!

It's great news that the line is continuing and even better that it seems a decent lineup.

Some speculation on what the dodge models could be seeing as it's got to appeal world wide I can only think of 4 models that are that well known and that's the Challenger, Charger, Ram, Viper and all their variations, years etc 

My stab in the dark regarding the set is a Dodge Ram towing a trailer with a 1970s Challenger or Viper.

Kinda amazing that Koenigsegg has expanded their licensing by quite a fair bit, lately. Makes you think: if LEGO has a license now, they can do anything. Toyota as well.

Ditto, I think classic cars in general tend to translate to Speed Champions a bit better. That F1 Espace is beautiful BTW.

A Viper + Lil Red Express would be a fun pair, but I doubt they would put out a set without at least one current-production vehicle. 

What about Jeep? We've got the new 42122 Technic Jeep Wrangler, it would be nice to have a speed champions version.
