No pneumatics, and perhaps only one set (excavator) with actuators...

I expect something like 42005 (329 pieces) built around the same PU components as the Rally Car.

Being small sets, I expect the plane and the hovercraft to be all looks and no function.

If the excavator doesn't have pneumatics I'm not terribly excited about it.

The loader has potential to be a good entry-level set like the buggy from this year, but entry-level sets are not that interesting to me, I want something a bit larger.

All in all, this lineup is really boring to me as car sets are not interesting and the other sets are small and probably minimally functional. I hope the second wave does better, though my wallet certainly hurts less with these.

It doesn't.  But it might have one of the newer bucket parts (from 42055 or 42061).

Could the Ferrari be a formula 1? It would explain why the parts count is low for a 18+ set.

In contrast to the ferrari, the McLaren has 830 parts for only 50€ ... maybe the complex shape needed many little non-technic slopes?

Edit: Front hood could be made from a new big fender from the Lambo just in blue...?

I think the trend is a 1:8 scale every 2 years and a 1:10 scale or so between them.

Oh, that's a good idea. The last one is from 2013 (2014 if you count 42026), so it's been quite a while.

I rather think either the parts count or the price is wrong. 

Monster Jam trucks famously use BKT chevron tyres, so I don't see why the sets won't feature them. Otherwise, why not just do generic monster trucks?
