Apparently there are no Speed Champion sets in the leaked catalog. Could it be that miniature cars will be in Technic from now on?

Let's hope not. Why would they cancel Speed Champions, I think it's quite popular? Friends, Classic and Duplo haven't leaked also.

I think Speed Champion sets will be revealed in November.

Do we know if the leaked images are of the final sets, or just prelims? Because if they're prelims, some of the details like colours and tires could change by release time.

Only official picture releases can give 100% answer to that question...

If it looks complete, then it's complete.

That's right. There have been several cases where models were changed after the prelim pictures. For example the dump truck from 42023 ended up looking significantly different. Or 42039.

Speaking of tires, from what I hear (I haven't seen the images), the small tractor tires could be absolutely perfect for the Monster Jam trucks. Could they find their way onto them in the end?

Curious that Max Bersinger AG also leaked info/pictures of 2015 and 2017 LEGO sets and no license to sell was revoked then.
Seeing the pictures, I am excited for the new parts and finally new tires in Technic sets. The only thing missing is a new tire for the bigger super cars with realistic thread pattern. And 2in1 is always welcome even if it's only applied to the smaller sets. So far the Osprey battery box will be missing from 1H2021 sets.

Edit: Things I noticed:
1. The new Jeep 42122 tires will be used in the City tractor set 60287 as well.
2. The C+ Sand Buggy 42124 has 5x11x1 tapered panel in red or dark red. Maybe reused in Ferrari
3. The hovercraft has dbg 6x6 radar dishes not Toa Kopaka Mata shields at the back
4. 42123 McLaren Senna the hood has a new lbg fairing 2x7? similar to #21/22 fairing with pins and the Jeep has it in yellow. The 12L blue soft axle is nice and only been used in 1999 and 2001. Some sticker cover two 1x4 thin liftarms which is unfortunate.

P.S. The blue Creator 3in1 Motorcycle has Spike Prime wheels.

Apparently the Technic polybag 30465 is named “Helicopter”. I don’t think it’s going to be a battery box.

I never thought it would be, it was just a pipe dream ;-)

why not another Lego helicopter

Thanks for the info!

The helicopter from 42064 had 84 pieces. With a bit of simplification this could be reduced to about 60. Something like this seems perfectly reasonable as a polybag.

There were some hopeful people

But it can definitely still happen of course.

I suspect it would be something similar in size to the helicopter in 8433 (or even smaller):

I thought about that one too, but didn't mention it, because I hope in the polybag model the rotors will be connected.

All things considered, I think this wave looks pretty solid! No outright shite like 42106 and 42109.

My opinion too! I only bought 42102 and 42108 from this year which is less than usual for me. But from next wave there are at least 5 models that I'm interested in!

I agree for the most part. While the variety leaves a little to be desired, what they have seems to have been done quite well

Given the cancellation of the Osprey, I built a model in the VTOL family, the CityAirbus air taxi prototype, aiming for a similar price point

I chose the CityAirbus for its interesting configuration.  Its similarity to a drone may answer the question "why isn't there a LEGO drone?".  It also has potential for innovation of functions and the real one is all-electric.

The real one is testing in Germany this year.  Some YouTube videos show its early tests.  I designed the model to emulate the hovering, using techniques from 75258 Anakin's Podracer and an aircraft loading platform.  It can also move forwards and backwards whilst hovering.

Wonder about the Buggy rims! Are those new??

Maybe just the 56908 in white. I am more curious about the tires, as they look like spikey rally tires instead or normal balloon tires...?
