darkrebellion Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 Check this out: Indiana Jones exclusive preview In the home page you can see the pic. This year exclusive is indy themed I hoped it will be star wars but even indy is such a great thing . Quote
Chuck Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 Wow! At first guess, I would have thought it was the Indy jeep. But if you look at the box, it says 200 pcs., so I wonder what it could be. I will probably try and get my hands on one as soon as it pops up on Bricklink! -Chuck Quote
Flatfoot Thompsen Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 It's to bad I probably won't be able to get it. Quote
Squeaker Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 Chuck, I wouldn't plan on getting it cheap. The chrome gold C-3PO was limited to 500 units, and, being one minifig, now sells on BL at the lowest price for $120. A full set only availible at one location, with only 500 units and probably not too much time before thyey're gone, I'd guess it would be really expensive on BL. Good luck though! I've been thinking of a trip to LEGOLAND, which is really close to San Diego. Maybe I'll "coincidentally" go in July! Quote

Me getting the set would depend on resale price, what the set is, and if I can even find it being sold anywhere. -Chuck Quote
Fordo Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 Its nice to see these exclusive sets but I'd never get my hands on them at the con, and wouldn't shell out the cash for the resold ones. Best of luck to the people who get them, especially if they're from here or atleast FOL's. Quote
Canticleer blues Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 The suspense is killing me already! What could they put at 200 pieces as an exclusive? When is the Comic-con, by the way? Quote
cartoondude Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 (edited) Im so glad i am going!!! :cry_happy: Edited May 28, 2008 by cartoondude Quote
Asajj Ventress Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 (edited) On a poster of the cooming Comic Con Event, Lego Brick Master will give an exclusive Lego Indiana Jones Set. The Set will have 200 pieces and is limited of only 500! I think in future the ebay and bricklink prices... Asajj Ventress There the plakat (but no picture of the set) Edited May 28, 2008 by Asajj Ventress Quote
Belloq Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 Yes, for those of you who frequent Brothers-Brcik, you might have spotted this little article yesterday. It seems pretty interesting and, honestly it doesn't sound like our Peril in Peru set, since that set is probably well over 200 pieces. Any thoughts on this? Quote
Hinckley Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 I hope there will actually be more than 500 copies released... Quote
Flatfoot Thompsen Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 Isn't this the third topic we've seen this in? Quote
Shadows Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 Would this be the same people who 'gave out' the 500 gold C3P0's, but somehow large numbers of them ended up in the hands of 2 or 3 big eBay sellers who made a killing? Let's hope it's unrelated. Whatever the case, before we get a dozen of these threads, I'm going to merge it with an earlier one. Quote
Chuck Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 I hope there will actually be more than 500 copies released... Then it wouldn't be very exclusive, now, would it. -Chuck Quote
Hinckley Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 Then it wouldn't be very exclusive, now, would it.-Chuck Sure it would. Just less so. Most Shop at Home "Exclusives" don't have a limited run. I looked up exclusive in the dictionary and the number 500 didn't appear in the definition. I merged all of the topics about this...I think... Quote
darkrebellion Posted May 28, 2008 Author Posted May 28, 2008 Yeah I hope the TLC release more of them not just 500 . It maybe continue being an exclusive if they just sell it at comic con and the shop@home but with a more or less big production run . Quote
Shadows Posted May 29, 2008 Posted May 29, 2008 Sure it would. Just less so. Most Shop at Home "Exclusives" don't have a limited run. I looked up exclusive in the dictionary and the number 500 didn't appear in the definition. I'm hoping that the inclusion of the term 'Brick Master' means it will be available to members as well, otherwise, why bother? It's kind of a pointless cobranding without actual Brick Master club participation. If I had to guess, there will be an edition of 500 stamped for the SDCC, then some unknown number sold by exclusive opportunity to order. I merged all of the topics about this...I think... I knew I missed one... Quote
Chuck Posted May 31, 2008 Posted May 31, 2008 Sure it would. Just less so. Most Shop at Home "Exclusives" don't have a limited run. I looked up exclusive in the dictionary and the number 500 didn't appear in the definition. I merged all of the topics about this...I think... Thats a bit different; Shop at Home Exclusives tend to only be available through lego, be it from S&H or a Lego store. This set is exclusive like the golden C3P0s: There are only 500 of the sets available. -Chuck Quote
The Cobra Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 Would this be the same people who 'gave out' the 500 gold C3P0's, but somehow large numbers of them ended up in the hands of 2 or 3 big eBay sellers who made a killing? Let's hope it's unrelated. This is the first one I spotted: here. Quote
MagPiesRUs Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 This is the first one I spotted: here. Thanks, The Cobra! How does he expect to sell that for $275 though? The set is simply the Brickmaster exlusive (which is almost identical to the jeep you get with Peril in Peru) and a jumble of parts from various other Indy sets. I suppose the Ughas are nice, but you can get two of them along with a large temple for under half that price. Quote
The Brick Rat Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 This is the first one I spotted: here. I was worried that I would have to spend a good bit of money to pick this exclusive up on eBay. However, after seeing it, I think I'll pass. It looks to be the Brickmaster Indy jeep, the 2 Ugha warriors from the Crystal Skull Temple set, and some of the specialty pieces from the Temple Escape set (rounded out with some misc. brick elements). IMO, this is something only the most diehard completists need worry about. Quote
Ronan Nissen Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 Is there a chance that, that isn't the actual set? I mean have you seen the star wars set? Quote
Transmetro Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 Is there a chance that, that isn't the actual set? I mean have you seen the star wars set? I truly hope it isn't. It's so lackluster, beyond disappointed. I wonder how much it cost at the show? Quote
