JShortForJay Posted September 22, 2020 Posted September 22, 2020 (edited) *Your entry has earned 8 XP (x2 for limited challenge)* The Bloodfields of Atchorb were a sight to behold. Miles upon miles of crimson clovers painting the landscape. Of course, Fopha and Maerru would have beheld the view, if they hadn't been soaring across the plains in their newly completed swoop bikes, cutting a path through the sea of red. Although you couldn't tell it from his hulking frame and the two-handed cannon he carried, Maerru was a gentle soul and an artist at heart. He had adorned his bike with symbols and icons from his home, painted to match the flowers of this world. Fopha cared only about speed and efficiency. He was an expert navigator but, on the Magnate starship, that meant he flicked levers and plotted courses. On the swoop he could really feel alive. Edit: Maerru's bike is actually an adpated alt-build I made from the Ninjago Movie set 70629: Piranha Attack. https://brickset.com/sets/70629-1/Piranha-Attack I adapted the seat area to fit a swoop bike style better but besides that it's made completely from parts recycled from that set. Spoiler Now some single shots of the swoop bikes, Olen Fass' is included to complete the set but it has already been submitted for judging previously. Olen Fass' Swoop Bike "Loudmouth" Built with a pod racer engine, you can hear Loudmouth coming before it you see it. It's strong, sturdy and sleek. Maerru's Swoop Bike "Skylark" Decorated with memories of his home, Maerru's Skylark is swift and truly elegant to behold. Fopha's Swoop Bike "P11398" P11398 isn't flashy, it's stripped back and optimised. Fopha doesn't care much for flashy engines, paint jobs or nicknames as long as his bike can outpace the rest. n1majneb Posted September 22, 2020 Posted September 22, 2020 I really like these swoops, both unique designs and the colour contrast between the two sets them apart. Quote
Ross Fisher Posted September 22, 2020 Posted September 22, 2020 You're a bit of a dark horse, Jay. Casually pulling this out of the bag at the last moment. Classy. Quote

Classy. Haha thank you! I tend to have a habit of builing in a last-minute frenzy. I'm glad I got to get an entry in. Quote
marvelBoy123 Posted September 23, 2020 Posted September 23, 2020 Some nice swoops and another good landscape too! Quote
MKJoshA Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 Not sure the red and yellow works with the sand-blue. But other than that these are a nice pair of beefy bikes! The terrain is very simple though. Quote
