Hello,

I recently bought and builded the Liebherr R 9800.

And i'm using the Lego Control+ app.

The thing i want to achieve is to collect the real-time sensor data from that app and visualize the data on my computer with some program.

I haven't found that there are any open API's for the app. But i have found the documentation for LEGO Wireless Protocol 3.0.

The step i'm having issues with, is connecting/retreiving that data..

I have read that there are various apps that are compatible with the devices on the Liebherr R 9800.

Anybody got some pointers or tips on how to get started? or how to collect the data from the Liebherr R 9800 devices?

thanks!

Well, I am not nearly deep enough into programmable Lego to answer all of those questions, but I am guessing that you will need to ditch the Control+ app, because it allows for essentially no modification. You will likely need to use the Lego Powered Up app, write your own program in the "create" tab, and see about writing code for the readouts as well as the original stuff. With the current setup, the only real feedback I know of is to the controller profile on the remote, but I am far from being an expert.

Data collection is easy on my build as it hasn’t,t moved since I built due don,t like control +

When using  PF , just switch on the battery and away you go,.

Control +, download software,/ firmware, do start and calibration etc before you can control.

PF takes up less space & a lot less costly.

Too much for my old brain.
