August 2, 200519 yr I'm curious as to whether or not anybody else has been able to order parts as rutmar has. I assume that people have at least tried to call LEGO Direct (in Europe) to confirm this. Even if this turns out to be bogus, the LEGO Factory program looks somewhat promising (according to posts on 1000steine.com). -Jeramy

BTW, it is true that there has been a bulk ordering system in Europe for many years. You had to order a minimum of 100 of the same piece, and the minimum order amount is 250 euro. So, that is not interesting if you don't have that kind of money, or if you can't find other people who want to order with you. If you can, it's very interesting, though a lot of pieces are less expensive if you buy them of of Bricklink.

August 8, 200519 yr the belug group used to order parts from lego like this. according to what i read they first set up a list of wanted parts, lego would then indicate what was available from that list. not sure if there's a price list... i don't think there is a catalogue of parts. besides, the system doesn't seem to be very accurate. some people received wrong parts, wrong colours. i think you're better off buying thru bricklink...
