Redhead1982 Posted October 31, 2020 Posted October 31, 2020 I had an idea for a while in my head, and used the opportunity to build this little scene for local LUG's competion (theme was Halloween). I haven't done a residential building in a while, and this was is basically just a front, but it kicked my imagination. As for the costumes, I used the scariest ones I found in my collection. Or should I say the most painful ones in the middle of the night? Same scene, but a different background without the lights. I experimented with the tree (trying out a different connections to make it more natural-shaped), SNOTed base, and mostly lights and camera settings. I really need to find a larger sized background so I can take pictures from different angles. Quote
Toastie Posted October 31, 2020 Posted October 31, 2020 There is everything Halloween means (to me) in it. Lived for some time in the US - it is >all< there. The pumpkins, lanterns, skeleton ... the "dark" scene is perfect. It is so nice to see the three kids approaching the door - as if they were unsure what to do next, to scare the hell out of the residents - noticing the scary things behind the windows and discuss the issue . So lovey(!) and well done. Congratulations. Best Thorsten Quote

WesternOutlaw Posted November 1, 2020 Posted November 1, 2020 While the house and tree look great, I'm loving the little bricks as they trick-or-treat. Cool! Quote
