November 2, 20204 yr DAMN It's gonna be huge. 7feet ... about 2meter long? Wow Looking impressive already. Wondering where you gonna put it when it's ready. Guess you need a big shelf (and firm)

How far are you in the building process? the underwater part of the hull is near complete, the other pics is from a completed model for a customer but the current one will be fully working, both are the same ships be it Njord Viking and the completed Magne Viking (TENET)
November 11, 20204 yr Author some more done now waiting on a few 1000 red tiles and slopes from Bricklink motors installed for side thrusters motor for steering ram steering ram for both rudders
November 13, 20204 yr Good thing I don't need to buy red bricks :) Atleast in any bigger quantities :D Looks nice.
November 15, 20204 yr Author Motor for one of the 2 main props the 2 main corridors that run down each side for pipework and crew protection stern roller how many of you would think it would be wrong to paint the props bronze or is it better to leave them as is
November 18, 20204 yr Mental! Absolute huge too!! Personally I'd leave the props as they are. A minor detail that doesn't really get noticed whether it's bronze or dark tan (I think that's what it is?) when there is so much more else to look at! The rope winches with the S-brick logo look really good, as does the rest of it.
December 20, 20204 yr Author Bow section done up to the waterline 2 side thrusters motorized with LED lights aswell cut out bottom of hull for the telescopic Azimuth thruster which is completely motorized Azimuth thruster in its lowered position this rotates 360 degrees
December 22, 20204 yr I enjoy following this build. So satisfying to watch the flow of the squared parts into an organic shape.
December 27, 20204 yr Author ROV A-frame this wil be motorized with a door also motorized once the hangar is built around it ROV hangar is 3 decks high which should give enough clearance for the frame to fit inside
December 29, 20204 yr Author ROV still needs work but overall the shape is kinda there ROV door can turn 180 degrees atlast the axle goes beneath the main deck where the motor/reduction can fit waiting on Bricklink orders to get more done now to change the A-frame to blue as it is on the ship so I found out today when it came in to the harbour

January 14, 20214 yr This is totally crazy. It is, as if you were building the original. No welding though - no nuts and bolts. Just studs, pins and so on. Crazy. But totally cool and fascinating. You must have very very detailed plans of the original, right? (On your post from January 1st, 3rd photo down, on the very left: That glass is used to have a nice sip of Whiskey, when you call it a day, right ) I am looking so much forward to enjoying this ship once finished! Best wishes, Thorsten
January 22, 20214 yr Author Azimuth thruster tested and working be it a bit fragile thrusters tested and working anchor and mooring winch a few problems setting the S-brick to work the azimuth and thrusters through a 9v transformer
January 26, 20214 yr Hi Jim Love the way off details and that you got the towing pins get to work. The only minor is the lightning system and looks odd to me. Ore make it your self ore order lights form this website and you have only loop them and ad a USB cable and with 220V ore 110V phone adapter to 4.5 volt and is plug and play. https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fnl.aliexpress.com%2Fitem%2F4001132330260.html%3Fspm%3Da2g0o.detail.1000023.7.3fdcdf14e7S1o7%26fbclid%3DIwAR3vQzlR_g0zgoiUIvhNvhkKsCUXb-CZ2OvNP1rx-URCD4WbDa77toXYiT4&h=AT2LnJZHO73HFBgMQKI2G10KPTQhbt3_9eaMX4u59MxXu4HmL1xZqPE3JO_4XM5kdewg77jdcqapebJM79HTwAjVNDNlLmi1aEHQXytmo44mwP3vtg7jB-CpPWEY7wafxHOP&__tn__=-UK-R&c[0]=AT1N1UABvMNmyDSfncaFvTSQmnmMWFCUHEaiC3l6PXmnmdmcpZOInvS4mvQwU_d8HbX0FLiYQGTQAZQmaLjiVO6wOMHpT40FuHSltLnER98--X9zxcOA9Wy8HewmmiOOJnyA_7fhjIyhoWpig6d2Num2jQ Give me a pm to help you.
