Boba1980 Posted November 3, 2020 Posted November 3, 2020 (edited) The ship is called „ The LIZARD“ XVS-10 and it is a light freighter. The color scheme is inspired by the current City Space theme. The LIZARD is the first ship I build for my CS-NextGen Team (Classic Space - The Next Generation). This MOC was build for the Space Tag Team Contest on www.roguebricks.de „LIZARD“ XVS-10 Light Freighter by Boba-1980, auf Flickr The LIZARD by Boba-1980, auf Flickr The LIZARD by Boba-1980, auf Flickr CS-NextGen by Boba-1980, auf Flickr Hope you like it. Henning M. Posted November 4, 2020 Posted November 4, 2020 nice. And the colour sceme brings back memories of Mars mission Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted November 4, 2020 Posted November 4, 2020 Nicely done. I've always liked the white and orange color scheme used for space. I think "The Lizard" has a Space 1999 Eagle Transporter look about it. Excellent! Clean and classic! Quote
Dapper-D2 Posted November 5, 2020 Posted November 5, 2020 It's very cool and definitely resembles a lizard. I would suggest some downward or rotating engines for thrust required to lift the cargo. Great build and photography! Quote
Tim_AZ Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 Nice work. Very clean and functional design. Quote
EVE Posted November 9, 2020 Posted November 9, 2020 Love the clean shapes and simple color scheme! Very retro-futuristic Quote
Glassjaw Posted November 15, 2020 Posted November 15, 2020 I love it, the colour scheme and the design. I’ve enjoyed building with the current space sets, the white is very clean and classically futuristic IMO, and the orange highlights just make the models pop. Well done, I’m a fan Quote
rurikolake Posted November 17, 2020 Posted November 17, 2020 So neat and tidy. Love the sleekness. Quote

And the colour sceme brings back memories of Mars mission Yes, but the MOC was inspired by the actual city space theme. Unfortunately, lego does not continue the theme. When I designed the ship, the container was already ready and I wanted to build a relatively small ship using the cockpit. On 11/5/2020 at 12:56 PM, SteamSewnEmpire said: Very, very slick. Thanks. Taking and editing the pictures is not the funniest part, but good quality pictures adds a lot. On 11/7/2020 at 4:23 AM, Tim_AZ said: Nice work. Very clean and functional design. Tanks!! Well done, I’m a fan Thank you very much for your kind words. As a kid of the 80th I was so happy when LEGO launched the new city space theme. So I had to build something in this color scheme. And there are lots of MOCs coming in the next month. On 11/17/2020 at 10:06 PM, rurikolake said: So neat and tidy. Love the sleekness. Thanks!!
