Posted November 12, 20204 yr I had the chance to play a little bit with the prototype hardware of the SBrick Light kit. You can see my demonstration and impressions about it in this video:
November 12, 20204 yr I was hoping for Lego 3 studs high battery box but this is very interesting. Did you test it with PF XL motors? Thanks Edited November 12, 20204 yr by I_Igor

Thanks The slim version is actually only 1 stud + 1 plate high. The normal version (with the 3 AAA batteries) is 3 studs + 1 plate high. Not sure what test do you mean with the PF XL motors? The SBrick light units have their special connectors and they only control the lights. In the SBrick Pro app you have the possibility to control these units and also every compatible Bluetooth-enabled device, like SBrick/Powered Up/Boost/BuWizz/etc.

I'll see, perhaps some optimization will be required in my case, but that is a point of hobby. Thanks again

The problem that I want to solve is how to put 2 XL motors below battery box and whole thing to be 8 studs tall... If I put XL motors to wide apart then due to internal gearing power release goes in waves and not continuously as with L-motors...but I wanted more torque...this is why I was wondering if (bigger one 3 x 7 x ...) could be used...
November 13, 20204 yr If buwizz or a normal S-brick is still too tall, cheap Chinese bluetooth controllers (MouldKing) are very easy to disassemble and the battery is just plugged in by a normal RC LIPO balance plug. So (assuming dirt and water ingress aren't going to be a problem) you could put the top of the unit where you want, and run a balance charger extension cable to it with either the included battery or some other LIPO 2S battery. This is assuming the battery would have somewhere else to live. Of course, you'd only have digital control. But it would fit the form factor you're asking for. 12 hours ago, I_Igor said: The problem that I want to solve is how to put 2 XL motors below battery box and whole thing to be 8 studs tall... December 6, 20213 yr Hello everyone, During black friday, I took the opportunity to buy a Sbrick Light Starter pack which is composed of brick Slim, 8 white LEDs and a wall power supply. I received this material today and of course as a child, I hurry to unwrap my package and try these LEDs !! Nothing works and the Sbrick site is stingy with information. I don't know if there is a power problem ?! If so, is it the power adapter itself, or the mini jack ?! The Sbrick Slim also works via Bluetooth ?! Anyway, I don't know ... Can anyone here help me?
