Oh man. I'm really kicking myself now. I used to have 100 of the green classic space minifigures and I sold them all when the prices went up. (I paid about $1.80 each from Bricks and Pieces years ago.) I would have kept them if I could have gotten the proper helmets. I sold them right before they brought back the helmet mold. I hope they bring the torso back.

I am honestly 50/50 on this - I can see it just being a little nod (like the blue helmet in the Ninjago Prime Empire gamers' market), or us actually getting the green Spaceman back (maybe in the Space CMF?).

Hopefully that green helmet shows up with a CMF or on Bricks and Pieces, or the BL price is going to be ridculous. 

And did anyone else notice the LL03 on the CS part? Wonder if that’s a sticker or print..

Not just LL03, but LL02 and LL01 as well. Could be prints if reused in a 2024 Classic Space set. The trans yellow windows certainly suggest that.

I prefer to have them in both shapes: the classical ones and the so-called motor helmets with visors.
If necessary I can switch helmets in my displays then.

Mind you, that screen showing a red spaceman (looks like something from the sticker sheet in the 1980 Lego ideas book) has caught my eye. Presumably that’s a sticker too.

I just wish Monkie Kid sets were easier to get here in Australia (the only way to get them is to buy from Shop @ Home which basically means no chance of getting any kind of discount)

Yeah, I think so. Should be a good part to have, when I've tried MOCing Classic Space I've often bemoaned the small number of basic flat window parts that were available.

Maybe if we're lucky their use here (and possibly the green helmet) foreshadows their use in a Classic Space moonbase set or something...

Unironically I don't. Is "space elevator" a term in American vernacular or something? All I can think of is that it's an 'elevator' with a space theme, but if that's the only level then it's an observation rather than a pun - what am I missing?

(I will, of course, refrain from making the played-out "lifts/levels" pun)

Am I right in thinking 1x4x3 panels with hollow studs have never been released in trans-yellow before? I presume there are at least a few use-cases that specifically need hollow studs over solid ones (such as inserting bars, for example)

First time with hollow studs and first time with the reinforced sides (less building opportunities there but as somebody who bent some of the old panels before I'll always appreciate something that'll hold its shape better if you accidentally step on it or something).

The Friends set also has trans-orange garage door panels (useful if you happen to MOC Mars Mission or something) and Trans Pink ones (less useful for most existing factions but still neat).

Trans-pink is a criminally underused colour imo, so any new parts are a bonus!
